Guest guest
Transits Report for Tomorrow Friday, May 5th, 2006 (5/6 in the East....) Today, Moon finishes up in Cancer, where it's normally so happy. This month & year, of course as Saturn's also there, the Moon's normal passage here is quite differently affected. Many people have been writing saying how strange and different Moon feels now. This is Saturn for you! Anyone ever read the book: " Saturn, friend of foe? " A great, classic Sani book. First book that ever got me thinking about the possible 'good' affects of Saturn. Next 2 1/2 days Moon transits, Leo, and the line of malefics, from Rahu in Pisces, to Mars in Gemini, and Saturn in Cancer, will be over with! See, if you don't notice feeling uniquely positive, up-lifed, and full of energy and Leo drive! Good days to accomplish, to lead, and to doing anything, entrepeneurish! Enjoy! Today, we have an interesting letter form a r who's had a very good experience in Jyotish & watching the transits. Today, also, I've was thinking we've had so many new rs, these last couple of months, it might be time to review the Philosophy of the Transits and how the transits relate to the other major aspects of Astrology. Part 1 is today. Subscriber, Jason, in New York. " Mark, I had the most wonderful experience over these last few days. I've been watching the transits now for almost a year and 1/2 and with your excellent help I felt like I've saved myself years of grief. Anyway, Saturn's been a challenge in my chart, and each day that Saturn influences either the Moon or other important planets, I've normally been feeling quite the depressing, how do you say, 'malefic' side. The last few months, however, I've been endeavoring to find that positive Saturn you talk about, so I've been trying to listen, to even talk to Saturn. See, what the heck, he wants of me, you know, typical new yorker. Anyway last few months I've been feeling this shift and last nite and yesterday I had the best experience, imaginable. I was feeling that typical dreadful, heavy, rough kind of feeling as the Moon started going into Cancer. I even, sent away for a Parashar's Light Jyotish/Astrology software as you suggested, and that was extremely helpful to be able to make up my own transits, and watch them, even hour by hour. Yesterday, as the Moon was approching Saturn I noticed that typically, most awful part, and then, I remember something you said, about surrendering to Saturn, or nature so I tried it. I let go. I took a deep breath and let gooooo! Well, you'll never believe it, though you probably will, cuz I felt this huge shift. Instead of feeling hurried, hassled and over-all, depressed, in letting go, all of a sudden I felt fine! In fact I felt more then fine. I felt greaaaat! I felt peaceful, I felt serene. I even felt relaxed! Imagine a real New Yorker! feeling relaxed!! I also noticed this morning, an amazing shift immediately as the Moon went past the supposed degrees of Saturn! I really felt like I could feel the pulse of the Stars! Thank you so much for all your advice and help! You're a prince! Jason " " Dear Jason: Thank you for your complements. But, thank you the most for seizing this opportunity to study and experience these transits for yourself! It makes me especially happy to hear your words, your personal experience and ability to experience what took me, at least 4,5 years to comprehend! Congrats and keep going! " Philosophy of Transits Part 1 Over the last 2 years that I've been writing this Transits, Newsletter, I've thought often about the importance of them, and especially how they relate to the other most important areas of Astrology. I've kept persisting in writing about 'them' especially because the every day transits is where we live our Astrology. True, the transits may be only 1/3 of the total Astrology that we're all living, but I find these same, concrete worldly transits that we go through each day have a lot to teach us about Astrology. For me, Astrology came alive! when i first started studying the Transits! " Wow, " I thought, the transits are real, I can feel them. All the various principles, rules and ideas of Astrology, especially the Jyotish, or Eastern system, can be readily verified each day, week, and month of the year. Starting with the Moon's movements, waxing and waning, you can learn to feel them, and then, as you get more accomplished, great, important subtleties can be discovered! For example, one of the most amazing experience I've had is discovering that the intensity of conjunctions, when two or more planets are being together in the same sign, is more as the planets are colliding. After that, almost exactly when one of the planets moves past the other, then, automatically, the greatest intensity of their affect, immediately begins to diminish! This happens whenever the Moon approaches and then goes past any so-called Malefic whether it's Saturn, Mars, Rahu, Ketu or the Sun! Even other planets, like Venus, Mercury also have those same kinds of experiences. In the next few days we'll begin talking about how the Transits compare with the other 2 major parts of Astrology; the Dasas, and especially our own individual charts. enjoy!
