The essence of my Astrology is very simple. 2 things,

really.

#1 Life does not have 2

Astrologys but only 1. Therefore some reconciliation between Western

and Eastern has to happen

#2 I put much more

Philosophy of Astrology:

Now, in terms of the Philosophy of

Astrology; the first thing I like to say is: Astrology is very

simple.

The

configuration of Stars & Planets at the exact moment of our births

represents a kind of snapshot or picture, map if you will; as to what

every soul will be like coming to the Earth!

Those who are on a path of

discovering their Astrology are in the process of learning

this.

I like to say: “Our charts fit us!”

Everything you read, or hear or

discuss about Astrology has this goal in mind to help you discover exactly

how your Chart fits you.

Secondarily, there’s a new

growing appreciation within the field of Astrology and that is that there

is also a secret, mysterious, previously unknown knowledge or Wisdom

that’s also there within your Astrology that everyone really needs

to know about.

In other words, each of our charts

expresses two qualities.

We have Strengths & we have

Weaknesses.

Jyotish or Eastern Astrology has

taken this idea to a very deep level and calls our Strengths, Benefics and

our Weaknesses – Malefics.

Hi Mark,I thought I gave you this info before: born August 1,

1947, 1:09'50 " pm (time given in baby book = 1:10 pm and I've

rectified it to 10 " earlier), Philadelphia. Lot of angular planets

but Saturn and Pluto conjunct sun, and indeed that is a good description

of my life (lots of frustration and anger - raised in a very wealthy but

dysfunctional family ). HI Bob: Came across this old email today and

thought I'd get back with you. Sorry, I missed your original

letter.Do you know your Jyotish chart yet? I'd love to

talk to you about it sometime. Am finishingmy Jyotish book,

and want to talk about how people experience the different kinds of

Astrology that are out there.I started studying astrology in 1970 when I met a fabulous

astrologer in Oakland named Flora Urquhart. She was then 85 years old and

had been studying astrology for 60 years, and she really blew my mind -

made many predictions far into the (then) future which came true right on

the nose. To this day I don't understand how she made some of her most

outstanding predictions (I haven't figured out what techniques she was

using to pull those dates out). My basic schtick is

traditional Greek astrology - I call it " Morin de Villefranche by way

Hello Mark and Bob,

May I stick my nose in here?

When I read Bob that you had dealt with

anger and frustration I immediately decided you had Mars as your atmakaraka, so

had to cast the chart to find out. I was right, your Mars is your atmakaraka so

learning to deal with anger will be an issue for you. Having Rahu conjoined it

as well will make this lesson a bit challenging. One way you can deal with this

energy will be to remain conscious of your thought patterns.

hi boys! don't mind me sticking my nose here too!! talking of mars as AK , my AK is also mars but a bit mild and in control. feel like lashing out at times, but do not. guess all depends where that mars is , and in whose company too. mine resides at the end of gemini in punarvasu ruled by jupiter and has venus for company...8th house!! may i suggest to bob, that he try out the EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUE as remedy? trust me it works wonders.can get lots of information

Hello. I am a bit unclear on who authored the above sentence, but i would love to know because Flora Urquhart was my great aunt. She instilled in me an interest in and more significantly a respect for astrology that has recently turned into an active pursuit of knowledge. i would love to know more about her for the perspective of one of her students. How did you meet?
