Guest guest
Dear Mark and All Friends, Along with a waning Moon, we now have a similar " waning " Sun in the Northern hemisphere, as the Sun is continuing to move to the outermost reaches in its northward journey, and this will culminate on Thurs. Dec. 21 at 19:22 EST at the Winter Solstice, the moment that begins the next 6-month waxing cycle of the Sun in its southern journey, known as the Path of the Gods (Devayana). On the Winter Solstice and through midnight on the morning of December 25th, as the Sun is aligned with the Galactic plane, a powerful Light is said to emit from the Galactic Center, penetrating the heart of all matter on Earth, including humanity. Even the nature spirits, being able to see this Light, cease all activity. Thus, the days preceding and following the Winter Solstice are a good time to be quiet, rest and meditate, in order to fully receive this gift of Light. This call to rest is doubly so right now, as we also have a Balsamic/waning Moon. On the Winter Solstice day, we can welcome in new energy by following this simple ritual at any time of the day but preferably at either sunrise, or at 11:30 AM-12 PM, or at the actual time of the solstice: Light a candle and/or sit in the sunlight (if you are lucky enough to have some). Breathe in the energy of whatever you want to manifest in the near future and the next six months as the days will continue to lengthen and the metaphoric seeds of change will continue to grow, and exhale the energy of whatever you are ready to release in order to bring in these new energies and forms. This is a great day to send our prayers out to the world, as well. I hope all your days are delightful and full of peace, love and LIGHT!!!
