Hi all, My birth

data is 11-28-1944 08:11 am Sacramento, Calif I am

in a Saturn dasa as of some say 03 but my software says 05 just as i

got into it in 05 I got a thyroid disease..autoimmuneHi Lhynn: In my experience, our life experiences

show us or confirm the truthsof our astrology. So, if we want

to confirm how accurate our Dasas are we goback into the past and

see how perfectly our Dasas line up with our life. The fact

that you're not suffering the Saturn effects of a dis-ease, disease isconfirmation enough.THE POINT IS TO UNDERSTAND...AND

ACCEPT...THAT YES, I'M IN SATURN...AND AS YOU'RE DOING

ADJUST...AND LEARN....

...was extremely

ill for several months..then a old back injury as a child collapsed

2 vertabras....then i did hairstyling and i couldn't work anymore as my

back was so bad...my hubby and I split up and I had to go live with

my mother who is very cold woman, sociopathic...so you get the picture..I went

back with my husband a year later and we have been together

since..he is a truck driver and never home so pretty much

isolated.

I have never been in this shape

in my life and was distraught but then soon realized being alone

was a good thing.

You've just

described here the essence of Saturn. You went into a Saturn

stressed situation and you adjusted. You learned " being alone

was a good thing... " and that being a very powerful Saturn lesson....

you started to feel better.See, Jupiter teaches us about being

open to knowledge, purity, God...

Saturn

teaches us to be more in-tune with our inner silence.....And

the degree to which we're not in-tune with our inner wholeness and

bliss..

that's the

extent to which we suffer...Saturn is just us trying to teach

ourselves...of the importance of developing the inner. Sickness is nature's way of showing us we have not been in-tune enough

with our own natural balance.

..I felt more peaceful

...felt more healing...I went into remission

Remember

these 3 beautiful things. You " felt more peaceful, felt more

healing and went into remission.... " See, nothing is impossible

through Saturn!Saturn doesn't just mean the grief part.. It

means adjusting and getting into the good stuff. The pain we

feel is just an indication of how much we're holding on to the old, the

past, and our ignorance. We learn to let go each time a Saturn

moment comes into us.Each month the Moon collides with

Saturn. That's like a mini-Sade sat of the month. Each month

the Moon moves through signs where Saturn is aspecting. Those

too, are Saturn moments. During even those days we'll come under the

sway of Saturn.Pay attention to those days and as you

surrender more and more to the inherent lessons of Saturn... the grief of

the negative side of Saturn will give way to the blissof the

eternally blissful, wonderful and yes, even healing parts of

Saturn!

but my back is still

bad...I understand Saturn rules the spine.

Experience

shows how much more Saturn attention we need. Stiffness, arthritus,

sore back, " bad back " are again, all Saturn signs. So, continue putting attention on bringing balance into every aspect of

your life.As you live a life always with enough Saturn

balance, then Saturn will be appeased.See, it doesn't take but

2 or 3 days in a row of being out of balance before we start to feel

miserable.Saturn is here to show us when and where we need to

develop more inner silence and balance.

My sub dasa is jupiter. I

want to learn how to deal better with saturn.

You're

right now, in the thick of learning about Saturn. Just notice that

Saturn right now is teaching you about HIM.First, we get some

Saturn notice. Either a big bill comes or we fall sick. Then, we have to scramble around to try and pay that bill. But, if

we do it in a stressed sort of way then things can get even worse. But, if we develop a more relaxed and peaceful perspective in

life, and work each day on becoming more balanced, then Saturn will be

happy! And, if Saturn is happy, then we'll become

happy!

My planets thru the houses

are:

MARS AND SUN AND LAGNA IN 1ST

HOUSE ..SCORPIO

SAGGITARIUS, KETU AND MERCURY

2ND HOUSE...SAGGITARIUS

MOON IN ARIES IN THE 6TH

HOUSE

SATURN AND RAHU IN THE 8TH HOUSE

...GEMINI

It's good

to know that Saturn is in your 8th house of chronic health challenges. And the nature of the Saturn mis-take here has something to do with

Gemini. When people have 2 or more planets in Gemini they often

get into the negative of Gemini.Part of the negative of Gemini is

doing 2, 3 or 4 things at a time. That Gemini nature which is good

at juggling several things at a time, when it gets into too much Gemini

can lead quickly into imbalance. So, in addition to studying

Saturn, also study Gemini.See, if you don't do too many things

at a time and that is the main reason why you get out of balance.Even just Saturn in Gemini can lead to this. But, having Rahu

there in Gemini toomeans typically too much Gemini ness.Does this fit you?

JUPITER IN VIRGO IN THE 11TH Thanks Lhynn

Sorry, to

hear you're going through these Saturn griefs. However, practical

experience shows that a great awakening is happening in you do to all this

as well. So, hold on, let go, get more rest, re-organize your life to

always live with more balance, Rest,Enough money, and develop inner balance, poise, etc...And Saturn can

become our greatest friend!Jai Sani!

Thanks mark, Sounds right on...I hadn't paid any attention to Gemini ..so will get on that ...and yes I use to try to do a bunch of things at one time..I don't anymore. I also do much in spiritual practices now also and have learned how to detach from issues and situations......thru Huna and meditation Wow thank you so much..you have validated everything for me so well. So if you get into a saturn dasa and have your saturn in a friendly place like in a house with capricorn or aquarius..the period is less difficult or could be very good? and mine is in the 8th a dusthana house ..malific and saturn and rahu both malific..why this turned so bad so quick...do karakas help in this house? and the ruler of the house is Mercury..right? Which is in my 2nd house.in saggitarius..so does Jupiter come into play here also..the planets in the 2nd are venus and mercury and ketu...and jupiter is in the 11 in

virgo again ruled by mercury....do i do anything with that also? I will start checking on the Moon like you said..keeping the journal. That will be interesting. Thanks for your knowledge. Mark, Is there somewhere I can find the current transits..? I remember there was a Lagna book based on Western astrology, and I vaguely remember that there is one also based on vedic.. Do you know what it is called and where I can find one..? Also, Do you know where I can have my chart done.? I have my birth chart, but would like to get the Dashas, Antaradasha's for the next 3 years.. I am currently in Jupiter Dasha, but went into secondary Mars and will be going into secondary Rahu before I enter Saturn Dasha. I have Saturn Raja-Yogakaraka in my chart, so it should be favorable... DanDan Dubie

Thanks mark,

Sounds right on...I hadn't paid

any attention to Gemini ..so will get on that ...and yes I use to try to

do a bunch of things at one time..I don't anymore.Hi Lhynn: Knowing exactly what the planetary

configuration is that gets us in trouble sometimes is a great insight

because once we know this, then the next time that pops up we can

check and make sure that we're not doing that. And if we are being

too Geminish for example, then we can stop doing that andwe'll

notice that immediately the Saturn grief begins to subside.

I also do much in spiritual

practices now also and have learned how to detach from issues and

situations......thru Huna and meditationDetachment isn't meant to be in the mind or as a mood, but

transcending meditation, vs. contemplative mediations have the effect of

literally enlivening thedeep, silent part of us.As we

enliven our conscioiusness through meditation, (mediation by the way is

what I believe is he #1 remedy for all ailments!), then balance naturally

gets created and then, quite naturally Saturn becomes balanced

too.

Wow thank you so much..you have

validated everything for me so well. You're welcome. It's a great relief when the mind

comes to understand all ourvarious issues. Jyotish, really is

Vedic psychology. And, as we come to understand why we're the way we

are, then we can powerfully, 1) Utilize ourstrengths more and 2)

especially transform or heal our malefics! And, since this is

the true purpose of our lives, then we find ourselves muchimproved!

Successful and happy....

So if you get into a saturn

dasa and have your saturn in a friendly place like in a house with

capricorn or aquarius..the period is less difficult or could be very

good?Yes, sometimes when a person has a

balanced Saturn, either in its Own Sign orExalted they have more

benefic experiences of Saturn because of that. But, I'veknown

many a supposedly benefic Saturn person who is not getting the positiveSaturn results like they should.I was talking to one of my

Exalted Saturn clients one day and I asked him: " I mean, you've

got an Exalted Saturn, so why do you work and strain so hard? You

know what he said? " Because I can! " That made me

laugh, but that's a great truth too. Many strong Saturn people

havebetter or strong stamina in them, so they do feel they can work

very hard. This is why knowing the philosophy of Saturn, that

it represents the balance between both cycles of rest and activity that

really produces health is so important!

and mine is in the 8th a

dusthana house ..malific and saturn and rahu both malific..why this turned

so bad so quick...I thought I answered

this before, but when an illness or break happens suddenlyit can be

due to a sudden quick shift in either dasas or transits. But, the

stars don'tcause us to get sick, but if the seed of ill-health is

there, either in deep fatigue orstress then the stars can bring it

all up to the surface, quickly. But, this is a good thing,

because it completely forces us to attend to this very important

issue. For years now, as I've been in my Saturn Mahadasa each

day I make my rest, meditation and sleep cycles #1! Then,

whatever energy I have left over after that,I focus on all the other

details of my life.Like most people, most of my early life I

chased my desires and dreams. Now, I put attention on creating

balance with Saturn every day, and the resttakes care of

itself. I've found I still have all my dreams and desires only byputting attention on the Saturn ability to fulfill desires, they come

together naturally.do karakas help in this house?

and the ruler of the house is Mercury..right? Which is in my 2nd house.in

saggitarius..so

does Jupiter come into play here also..the planets in the 2nd are venus

and mercury and ketu...and jupiter is in the 11 in virgo again ruled by

mercury....do i do anything with that also?

I will start checking on the

Moon like you said..keeping the journal. That will be

interesting.

Thanks for your

knowledge.

Warmly LhynnGood luck! And, yes, watch the Moon and allow that

cycle to dominate in yourlife. Right now, is 1 day before the

Full Moon so we feel all the great energy andfullness. However,

in just a few days we'll begin to notice the Moon retiring. It'll

beginshrinking and getting smaller and smaller. It's a natural

indicator of another Saturnlike cycle of rest. And, as we be in

tune with that too, we'll feel better! and soon, great!
