Guest guest
Hi Mark, I LIKE YOUR PROJECT! Sounds like an Internet Instant Success. Great idea, and good luck! Since Saturn has transited all my personal conflicts are suddenly smoother, that is clear. And that transit will have a duration of almost a year - what a gift!Dear Zack! Great! Well, why don't you join us. I'd love to have someone " down under " so tospeak, and have been wanting to talk with you awhile anyway. Just need to make your instant messenger work, and we can talk!ciaoMarkPS: When you watch the stars you'll notice that precipitation doesn't come so much by sign alone but mostly in terms of Jyotish's so-called malefic ness! I've discovered, don't tell anyone yet! but I've realized that rain comes when 1 or more malefic situations aspect the Moon directly, regardless of the sign that the Moon is in! I wanted to comment on the present Moon shift into Cancer, a Water Sign. If you have moisture near your location (which I forget?) then look out = Heavy Precipitation Due! Here is another update on my reading of the weather forecasts in light of the Moon Calendar. Tomorrow, Monday, we are entering a transit of the moon through a water sign, called leaf sign in Biodynamics. The characteristic of this sign in my experience has been intense cloudbursts and extended soaking rains. In this case, my NZlocal forecasters agree that rain is on the way. My interest in the Moon Calendar is to see the character of the rain while the moon is in a water sign; since I try to bicycle to go places, this is important to me. So far in 2008 water signs, these have been unrelenting storms, with no break in the rain to give the bicyclist a chance to move between showers. My understanding is that the Moon Calendar helps determine the character of rain events, while the larger systems of clouds and moisture are set up by the sun. So the sun brings moisture, and the seasons; the changes in timing the tides and moon effects are the characteristics expressed by vedic astronomers over the centuries. If you are planning an event like an indoor conference, or intend to get out to walk around the bush, I suggest you select the days partially based on the Moon Calendar. Note, the last water in December is Christmas Eve and Christmas (in USA mountain time.) Water signs (about six days a month) tend to be humid if not pouring during the day. Earth signs so far have hosted rain, but more during the night instead of during the day. Best regards,Zack
