Moon's 4th Quarter - Moon - Brief Reflection - 12/12/09

Moon ReportDec. 12th, 2009"On the Verge of the New Moon"Today, December 12th, finds the Moon, "on the verge of the New Moon". Can you feel it? How's your 'life'going? Are you moving ahead with all ease, effortlessness and success?Or, are you feeling this amazing "inwardness" and "stillness" dominating?Especially, now, as we're all trying to get things organized and arranged before the Holidays, I find this New Moon time, very inconvenient!Nature, however, isn't amused. Nature knows just one thing!Exactly what it is doing!And, for "now", the Moon's leading us into the New Moon phase.Today, the Moon's just 2, 2 1/2 days before the New Moon, and it's getting even smaller, now,over the next few days.We're like on the ocean, sailing about, and suddenly the wind has gone out of the sails!So, what do we do?Well, we pace back and forth for awhile. When's that 'damn' wind, coming back!Then, we rush around making sure that everyone's in position, you know, ready for when 'that' wind,does come back.And, if the wind continues being 'nil', like it is now, in the air,then, after more time, we finally, sit down. We put our feet up.There's nothing else we can be doing. We've got all the members of our crew, mending the nets,scouring the decks, you know all those things that need to be done.But, they and we know its just busy work.The real, 'engine' of our lives, the wind, is taking its own sweet time, at a coming.So, we wait.The experienced sailors, however, know 'best' how to take advantage of Nature's wind, lulls.They go deep within, during these unique times.And, so, like that, we wait.'Things' will continue stagnating, taking there own sweet time to get fulfilled.So, we allow a part of us, that's, "That Moon" part, to be still,with the big Moon's that a waning.And, if we've done this long enough, we now, 'do' this with the self-confidence that in a few short days,suddenly everything will pick up again.And, what a great time that will be.Suddenly the sails will fill again, and FINALLY, we'll be able to truly 'get' somewhere!But, till then, we wait.And, we stay busy, because we just can't sit here.But, if we allow this natural space to waif over us.If we just, innocently allow this natural rest sequence of the Moon, wait all over us.Soon, so very soon, we'll find ourselves plunging into more dynamic activities,But, now, we'll be doing this, with such a much more deeply rested, prepared, and joyousinterior, heart and mind.Here's wishing that this Moon 'report' finds you enjoying!Jai ChandraMark Kincaid
