I am certain you will write something about the eclipse that precedes the New

Year

 

 

Hi, Janna, Nice hearing from you! Yes, thanks for the reminder.

 

 

 

As the 'year' of 2009, comes to a close, This Full Moon, might be better spent

on the inner.

 

The Cosmic, consciousness suggestion from the Yoga tradition, is to b inward,

upon the Self, especially on this delightful Lunar Eclipse.

 

The 'eclipses' show us how in-tune our desires are with nature.

 

If we go through eclipses and don't get pulled off our center, than

we are MORE in-tune with ourselves!

 

If, however, we feel rough, any negative feeling, really, than this

is Rahu/Ketu's close proximity influence upon both our Sun and Moon's.

 

We want to have our desires, only where the silence of our beings,

dominates!

 

We don't want to have 'those' types of desires, that lead us to Rahu

compulsions, obsessions and addictions.

 

The Eclipse, time, is one such karmic opportunity for all of us.

 

Pay particular attention to this up-coming Full Moon with Rahu/Ketu,

and your personal experience will show you how in-tune YOU are with

them!

(16* sidereal Gem/Sag), in the star of Ardra, a set-up on the Gem-Sag axis

of destruction with the Moon in Ardra, then proceeding to creation as Jupiter

also aspects the eclipse from Aquarius and is lord of Sag.

 

I hope that all may surmount obstacles in the new year with the moon conjoined

South Node Ketu in Punarvasu just after the Full Moon - hopefully there is much

grace surrounding this full moon with Jupiter's presence abounding!

 

It is also a Blue Moon and recalls the story of Shiva transmuting the poison of

the world and his throat turning blue:

The poison was so deadly that his throat became blue, which is why Shiva also

earned the epithet Nilakantha, the blue-throated. To relieve Shiva from the

burning sensation of the poison, he was given the moon, which had also come out

from the ocean, to cool him down. Thus he wears the crescent moon today.
