Guest guest
<<Om Namah Shivaaya>> Dear disinguished Jyotishas and friends, I have had the fortune of having Sanjay Rath Ji rectifying my birth time last year when he as in Colorado. Since then, I have commenced the deeper study of Jyotish which was also recommended by Sanjay Ji. This may seem elementary to many of you experienced Jyotishas, however, it is a wonder for me. I would like to know, how to calculate the Upapada Lagna and Chandra Upapada. It seems there are some exceptions to the rule. I have three questions. 1. My Lagna is Tula. The 12 house is Kanya (and occupied by Chandra). Budha, Shukra, Surya, Mangala are all in the 2nd house. Q1: Is my Upapada Lagna in Makara and Chandra Upapada in Kumbha? 2. My friend also has Tula as lagna. His Shukra in Simha, and Budha in Mithuna. Q2: Does this make his Upapada Lagna in Meena or Dhanus? Q3: If Dhanus, what is the correct calculation? Thank you vey much for your time. Blessings to you all, Hikaru
Guest guest
*hraum namah adityaya* Dear Hikaru, #1 Your chart: Upapada - Makara Chandra Upapada - Scorpio ( from Leo (12H from Moon) to Scorpio (Surya - 12L from Moon) is 4H - so it stays in 4H - this is an exception. #2 Your friend. 12H is Virgo and Buddha is in Gemini. So Upapada is in Dhanus (also exception - when the lord is in tenth then arudha is in forth). Guest guest
Dear Rafal ji, I believe there is some controversy over these methods of calculations. Please throw some light that How do we make use of these padas and uppadas in predictions? Kindly demonstrate with examples. Kind regards, Bharat B.
