Sabita,

well these r v broad bearing words though loosely can say

satwa is one who is divine in nature-soft, never hurts anyone in though, word,

deed.no adventure, risk, averice/greed contenment is always there. works with no

attachment to gains o returns.

rajasic is one who loves adventure, enterprising, conniving, avaricious, angry

will go all lout to achive things,

thamasic is a a lazy one who prefers to take it as it comes and if possible even

charity or theft or investment based returns lazy, lethargic, unclean, foul

mouthed abuses all m quarrels frequently etc

all good deeds of past life gives us good opportunities, patience, luck, good

family , friends

and bad things suffering, struggle, quarrels, anger, losses, debts, ill health

etc. so the need to work consciously while doing good is important and even

unconsciously one must not do bad. the rules are loaded on side of negative

traits so we need to be on our guard all the time some results can show up in

this life or get transfered to opening balance in next life.

best wishes

[vedic astrology] some doubts

Dear Gurujis

I have a few questions can any one answer

1. What is the meaning of these words

Sattwa, Rajas and Tamas (the three qualities born of Nature)?

(I don't know hindi)

2.If karma decides our present life(good and bad things happening in

this life ie. events)what decides our nature?(ie. some are patient and

some are not what decides this)

Thanks

Sabitha

Thank You sir for your clarification

In brief, both events and nature are decided by karma.

But, if a person has anger as his character trait then he is bound

to make more mistakes. Will it not continue as a vicious cycle,

anger leads to mistakes which in turn will lead to more negative

traits and more mistakes in next birth. How does God try to correct

or bring us to right path. He surely should have made some provision

to make us realise him is it not. If its karma all in all, what

will happen to those who are caught in the vicious cycle.

Please answer

Thank you

Sabitha

sure god has it starts just like how u have stated now by asking questions esp

to oneself on such traits and and has given only human race the chance to make

amends else we can live like animals with no awareness and possible

corrections. anger is the worst froms of self destruction.

if u have read about Ramanaya's author-Valmiki did he not make amends froma way

side dacoit, thug to a saint poet, like wse Pundali of Pandari pur, Purandara

dasa of Mysore, Vemana from Andra many great saits were evil minded, sinners etc

but they did awaken sense in them suddenly

both luck or suchwisdom come in a flash it is up to one to use this light to

discover oneself or ignore it till the next chance.

Best wishes
