Guest guest
JAI SRIRAM Dear Sri.Dakshinamoorthi, 1.Rahu and Ketu is considerig nodes and not planets in the vedic astrology,i came to know some of the Tamil Jyotish books given no own houses for Rahu and Ketu. But some other experts from north written Rahu and Ketu is considered as co-lord of Aquairs and Scorpio respectively. 2.Even we accept both of them are co-lords,will it be considered as Lagna lord for those born in Aquaris and Scorpio respectively...in case if both Rahu and Ketu is considered as stronger than Saturn and Mars. What is your expert opinion and what is in the classics and others old Jyotish texts. Thanks, Venkatesh.S. Expecting? Get great news right away with email Auto-Check. Try the Mail Beta. Guest guest
Dear Shri. Venkatesh: Rahu and Ketu are " Chaayaa " grahaas and they have no own house as per established classics including the BPHS. Rahu in Aquarius may be considered to be possessing the strength as if he is in own sign and Ketu in Scorpio may be considered to be possessing the strength as if he is in own sign. I feel that will be right way of taking it. Otherwise, in my opinion, Rahu and Ketu should not be considered as house lords, and the dictums concerning house lords in different houses should not be applied to the nodes. (like if a person is Mesha lagna and Rahu is in the 7th house, you can't take the results given in BPHS for 11th lord in 7th house considering Rahu as owner of Aquarius; But if Rahu is in Aquarius, you can consider Rahu is endowed with strength in the horoscope). Most ancient classics have not gone even to this extent. The view is that nodes reflect the planet in whose sign they are tenanted. In short, my personal opinion formed based on perusal of ancient classics (including naadi granthas) is that Rahu and Ketu cannot and should not be considered as Lagna lords or house lords at all. Blessed be. Pandit R.DAKSHINAMOORTHI. Guest guest
Dear Shri. Venkatesh: I am not giving a job interview here.....I have absolutely no need to declare under what traditions I learnt or whether Naadis support my view....You asked my opinion, I gave it. It is rude for a person seeking to learn something from somebody to ask the credentials of the expert. It is just not done. I am sorry....you motive may not be dishonest or rude....but the way your have raised this query....there is something of a challenging tone in that which raised my hackles. You asked a query obviously because you are not sure of something. When you ask such guidances, it will help to maintain a humble attitude. Once you have asked a query and the answer has been given, it is rude to question the credentials of the person or to enquire about the " traditions " of the person. There are vedic protocols in these. If you really wish to learn the subject and you are having doubts, it is best to learn it under a competent master rather than trying wild-goose chase type of researches. Your knowledge will be flawed by such an approach. Blessed be. Guest guest
Dear Shri. Venkatesh: There are no " tips " to become expert in astrology. Either you should get abnormal intuitive powers by the power of saadhana, or you have to work hard at the basics and master at least one classic thoroughly and use it in daily applications over the years. Intense research on any one of the standard classics can really make one a decent expert in astrology. Once such a thorough study of one classic is done, then you can branch out to extensive reading on the subject which will improve your theoretical perspectives. That is all to it. If you wanted to know the best way to become a very good astrologer or to gain knowledge in this field to great levels, the secret is to keep working hard and researching. But do that unobtrusively by yourself - searching for classics and assimilating them. Otherwise, if you wish that somebody should guide you, it cannot be in a position of equals, but it should be learnt at the feet of the person concerned. Curiosity is not the way. You cannot know " all " about a person unless you first win the trust of the person, especially in occult fields. Blessed be. Pandit. R.Dakshinamoorthi. vedic astrology , Venkatesh S <ksvssvk wrote: > > JAI SRIRAM > > Dear Sri.Dakshinamoorthi, > > I am asking about you, your tradition/books/granthas you have is all because of my curiosity/interest in jyotish because i am also from Tamil Nadu and like to know how you got all these jyotish knowledge and not any other bad intentions on that. > If anything is wrong in there, sorry. > > Thanks, > Venkatesh.S. > > dakshinastrologer <dakshinastrologer wrote: > Dear Shri. Guest guest
Precisely, that is how Arjuna succeeded in getting Lord Krishna on his side while waiting (Arjuna and Duryodhana) for him to get up at the feet side of the bed. Regards, Dr. Sanjay dakshinastrologer <dakshinastrologer wrote: Dear Shri. Blessed be. Pandit.
