Dear Vijay Prasad,

 

Amsa means sign in Navamsa. This placemement show experience and bhagya

related to concerned area.

 

If You ask about a calculation, then start with Cap, Lib, Can, Ari. This

must be based on Bhoota of sign. For airy we start from Libra, every

Amsa means 3'20. For example now Shukra is in 5 deg Leo. This is 2nd

Amsa, and starting from Aries, we see that Shukra is in Vrsabhamsa

(Taurus Navamsa).
