Dear Shri.KRji,

Niriyaana Maraka (Vimshotri) Dasa are nine in numbers. They are as follows:-

(a) Utpana dasa: 6rd nakshtra dasa from Moon’s nakshtra,

(b) Mrityu dasa: 3rd nakshtra dasa from Moon’s nakshtra,

© Praana dasa: Surya sputa’s nakshtra dasa,

(d) Aadhana dasa: 8th nakshtra dasa from Moon’s nakshtra,

(e) Vaama dasa: 4th nakshtra dasa from Moon’s nakshtra in an anti-clockwise

direction,

(f) Udu dasa : Yoga [vishkumbhathy yoga] sputa nakshtra dasa,

(g) NiriyaanNa dasa: Sani’s sputa nakshtra dasa,

(h) Mahapraana dasa : Add the Longitudes of Sun + Moon + Lagna divide it by

360 the reminder would fall to indicate a nakshtra dasa,

( i )Gulika Niriyaana dasa: Convert the Gulika sputa into arc seconds multiply

by 9 and add Chandra sputa converted in to arc seconds and divide the sum by

800;the quotient represents number of rasis past from Mesha Rasi and reminder

arc second would fall on a point / nakshtra in a Rasi.It is this nakshtra dasa

is called Gulika Niriyaana dasa.

[One degree is divided into 60 minutes (of arc), and one minute into 60

seconds (of arc). These units, also called the arcminute and arcsecond,]

If the above dasa lords are with “pancha bala” and posited in Kendra /KOna /

Subha isthaana; during its dasa bukthi period one may enjoy Raja yoga.

If on the other hand,Maraka isthaana lord as per Lagna,Mrityu dasa lord /

Vaama dasa lord and NiriyaanNa dasa lord become one and the same, during its MD

if its dispositor a kroora ,paapi / malefic ,during its AD a native breaths his

last.

(Reference: Sundarasekaram-Tamil Classic and jyothish graha Chinthaamani).

From the above I understand that any one of the above dasa lords from items

a,c,d,f,g,h,i + item b / e dasa lords and Maraka dasa lord as per lagna are

one and the same and its dispositor is a kroora, paapi / malefic; during its

dasa bukthi a native may breath his last.

With regards,

D.Sathiyanarayana Gupta.
