Dear respected sirs,

 

I am working in a small consulting firm for last 3 years. From

last 6-7 months things are not comfortable as it was used to ealier.

Now I am trying for job-change. I am constantly trying and applying

to different companies. Also I appeared for interviews

in 2 different companies, but I have not received any positive reply

so far. I am looking for a positive change. I am posting some of my

required personal details below:

Birthplace: Surat, Gujarat, India

I have done my engineering in Mechanical. I also have taken

professional training in software engineering. I got married in June

2003 and no kids.

 

I need advise on how to go ahead:

 

When actually I will get new job ?

Location wise where I will get new job in India ?

Should I try for abroad or should stay in India ?

How bright are the chances and what is your perspective on this ?

I passed out my BE in July 2000, then I did my software engineering

course from Bangalore during 12 Feb, 2001 to 28 July, 2001. Then I

joined one small software company in Bangalore in August 2001. On 9th

March, 2002 they have layed-off many engineers including me. Then I

shifted to Surat and I got job on contract-basis in Mechanical field

(in a major company)in July 2002. I was working there till May 2003.

I was not satisfied with job profile and company atmosphere. So I

left this job in May 2003. Then I did some professional courses in

Mechanical field to improve technically. Then I joined this

consulting firm in Sept. 2004 in Surat. So from Sept. 2004 to till

now I am working with this firm. And now I want to move ahead.
