I was having lunch with Western colleagues and we discuss about a

book related to 2012. I could not remember the title and just check,

Yogananda, He mentioned that His GURU, Sri Yukteswar mentioned that

the end of the world will be million years from now.

So I would like to know what does our Hindu Astrology says about this?

 

Is there any common thing in between Our Calculation and Mayan?

 

Why Mayan calendar end on 2012?
