Lagna position of strength or weakness

Dear Friends ,

 

I have been reading various books on astrology and it seems to me that many

of these emphasize the weaknesses of an ascendant to be coming from the

ascendant sign itself . For example an Aries is cautioned against injury to

head , a Taurean is said to have problems with throat infections etc . Why

this should be so when generally sixth house is regarded as house of

diseases ? Is ascendant the position of strength or weakness ?

Further to my query below which remains unanswered , I will add this . We

celebrate our birthdays which are basically the solar return to original

position . That day is supposed to be good . Is it ?

 

In pransa we see the moon to know the problem facing the querent ? Position

of strength or weakness ?
