Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Namaste Arjun Ji and Gupta Ji, Very interesting discussion. In my reading in Nadi based Jyotish, Mars was indicated as Karaka for women's marriage / saubhagya. That is why the words such as " Mangalya " , " Sumangali " " Mangalya Dosham " (popularly known as Mangal Dosha) has a connection with marriage and they all have the word " Mangal " (Mars) embedded in it. Please validate my thoughts, I may be going in a wrong tangent. Guest guest
dear fraternal friends for any woman's marriage, mangal can play the spoilsport especially when he is placed in the 8th, 7th and 12th houses. the word mangal has a pun. one is the planet mars. the other mangal means goodness when we greet " naya saal mangalmay ho " . since mars can endanger the saubhagya of a woman, we must reckon any negative affect by the mangal i.e. losing husband or widowhood. however, mars is not a karaka for marriage. in all those cases where there is a malefic mars or mangal dosha, if we do remedies for mars to turn him from malefic to benefic, then the marriage takes place soon after the remedies for mars. this does not mean mars has caused the marriage but the obstructions caused by him are removed. yes, mars is the planet for consideration of menstrual cycle in particular and blood in general and for timing moon is also seen. but this also does not lead to any observation that mars is the karaka for marriage. with best wishes and blessings pandit arjun www.rudraksharemedy.com vedic astrology , " Raghunatha Rao Nemani " <raon1008 wrote: > > Om Gurave Namah > > Namaste Arjun Ji and Gupta Ji, > > Very interesting discussion. Guest guest
Hare rama krishna, dear pundit ji and sri rao ji. i feel the quality of married life is governed by venus in both charts and its influence as venus also sukha karaka and mars also should be considered in female charts as mars represent energy ,protection in female chart ,thus indicater of male energy . In india there was a general practise wearing a sindhur on seemantha rekha -means in forehead between the begining of hair its red in color and it shows the girl or lady is married . Yes mangal in dustan from lagna or karakas are generaly considered bad and 4th is reducing the happiness in married life ,because mangal has digbala in 10th so 4th is astamaya rasi . & 7th is our approach in partner ships so a malefic there is also not good ,and most dreaded position is 8th being dustana and its a hidden rasi of sudden events ..And 64th navamsa (kharesh) is there also if mangal is in that degree of navamsa pada then mangal shows some suddenness and it may be death of partner to aggression on the self. Generaly i find ladies in north also wearing red bangles immediately after marriage to show that they married newly ,i dont know the reason behind it ,now many designs are using with advent of technology. Using of haldi -turmeric -is more prevalent in south and esp Tamilnadu by all girls and ladies irrespective of the fact that they are married or not .And offcourse haldi is good antiseptic and it has use in beauti treatments in ayurveda, but ladies they tie around a root of haldi in a tread as mangalya sutra and even one with gold in a gold chain also will be there along with it,if they are married. And also gold ,This is may be because of the reason ,Jupiter is karaka for bhaghya stan and deciding factor in marriage ,it support for logitivity in married life and also 9th is garba stana (the place of pregnancy) in a lady and grand children . And i find some tribals in india 9may be because of poverty) and some communities in rajastan area they hardly use any gold and mostly they hav silver ornament. Is it has something to do with the history of aggression in indian history as every invader were after gold and gems that india possessed ? regrds sunil nair om shreem mahalaxmai namah. http://www.indiamart.com/Vedic Astrology/ <http://www.indiamart.com/Vedic Astrology/> pt.sunilnair <pt.sunilnair vedic astrology , " panditarjun2004 " <panditarjun2004 wrote: > > dear fraternal friends > > for any woman's marriage, mangal can play the spoilsport especially > when he is placed in the 8th, 7th and 12th houses. > > the word mangal has a pun. one is the planet mars. the other mangal > means goodness when we greet " naya saal mangalmay ho " . > > since mars can endanger the saubhagya of a woman, we must reckon any > negative affect by the mangal i.e. losing husband or widowhood. > however, mars is not a karaka for marriage. > > in all those cases where there is a malefic mars or mangal dosha, if > we do remedies for mars to turn him from malefic to benefic, then the > marriage takes place soon after the remedies for mars. this does not > mean mars has caused the marriage but the obstructions caused by him > are removed. > > yes, mars is the planet for consideration of menstrual cycle in > particular and blood in general and for timing moon is also seen. > but this also does not lead to any observation that mars is the > karaka for marriage. > > with best wishes and blessings > pandit arjun > www.rudraksharemedy.com > > vedic astrology , " Raghunatha Rao Nemani " > raon1008@ wrote: > > > > Om Gurave Namah > > > > Namaste Arjun Ji and Gupta Ji, > > > > Very interesting discussion. Guest guest
Respected Gurujan, Pranams. Though i am not qualified to give any opinion as such in this topic, I wish to draw the attention of one and all to Sri BV Raman's " How to judge a horoscope " part 2 on the 7th house (pages 56 to 63)(2003 edition)wherein he has stated that Venus and Mars are to be seen for physical attraction between a couple. According to him the position of all the 3, namely, Venus, Mars and Jupiter in each other's horoscope must be studied to arrive at the compatibility factor between the partners. In book 1, on 5th house, to arrive at the bheeja (for male) and kshetra (for female), he takes into consideration venus for male and mars for female - which is on the lines of rules to determine Santhana thithi given in 'Brhma rishi vakhyam'. These information from BV Raman may be taken into consideration while discussing this topic. with regards, jayasree saranathan. vedic astrology , " sunil nair " <astro_tellerkerala wrote: > > > Hare rama krishna, > > dear pundit ji and sri rao ji. > > i feel the quality of married life is governed by venus in both > charts and its influence as venus also sukha karaka and mars also should > be considered in female charts as mars represent energy ,protection in > female chart ,thus indicater of male energy . > >

Guest guest
|| Om Gurave Namah || Dear Raghunatha, In terms of physical terms, The Venus represents the semen, And Mars(Bhoomi putra) represents the Yoni. So Mars acts as a " absorber " of Venus. Mars and Venus rules the 1-7 rulers in Natural Zodiac. You can decipher more about Mar's significance for brahmacharya and Venus for Desires from this. Jupiter is Putra Kaaraka, The persepective of Women for bearing children. When she looks at spouse for children, Then Jupiter gets the children for her. So in that sense Jupiter is the spouse kaaraka for women. Guest guest
Respected Gurujans, Mangal is red which is also the auspicious color of sindoor, the wedding sari is red in most part of India. It is also interesting to know that while in the South tuesdays/saturdays are not considered auspicious for wedding, most marriages in Maharashtra takes place on Tuesdays or Saturdays, Tuesdays being very auspicious Mangalmoorthy- Ganpati Bappa din. So probably Mangal indeed is a karaka for marriage. vedic astrology , Sathiyanarayana Gupta <gupta816 wrote: > > Dear Shri.RagunathaRao, > > When you say some thing it will have sense. > Sage Sathyacharya said in his " pancha siddhanta " that apart from graha karakas enumerated by Sages,he advocates Astrologers to employ their 'bukthi-ukthi' to explore further graha-karakas as the list was not exhastive. > The Aadhi-karthaa of 'Naadi' grandha might have visualized that wedlock union is a source for fission and fusion energy-thus earmarked 'MARS' as karaka for marriage. > With regards, > D.Sathiyanarayana Gupta. > > Raghunatha Rao Nemani <raon1008 wrote: Om Gurave Namah > > Namaste Arjun Ji and Gupta Ji, > > Very interesting discussion. Guest guest
*hare rama krsna* Dear Sunil Thats the way which I was taught in Parampara. Using Mars for this is influence of western astrology. Jupiter is not only sthira karaka, but also naisargika karaka. Thats the tradition, and I stick to that from the beginning. Guest guest
Om Gurave Namah Namaste Sanjay P, Arjun, Sunil,Bhagavathi and Gupta Ji's Wonderful discussion and you have all made some good points. In summary, I have applied these principles in various methods, such as Vimsottari Dasa, Narayana Dasa, Kashyapa Hora Nadi and KP methods and they all gave very consistent end results related to the marriage matters, marriage timing, separation and re-marriage etc., When I have some free time, I will write more about these lines and will share my thoughts. Regards Raghuntha Rao http://www.Prashna-Astrology.com vedic astrology , " Sanjay Prabhakaran " <sanjaychettiar wrote: || Om Gurave Namah || Dear Raghunatha, In terms of physical terms, The Venus represents the semen, And Mars(Bhoomi putra) represents the Yoni.
