New Moon ( Amaavaasya ) in bright half of month i.e. Suddha Chavithi

 

and 2. Fourth Day following Full Moon ( PourNima ) in dark half of month

 

i.e. BahuLa Chathurthi. The Second One i.e. BahuLa Chavithi is known as

 

Sankata-Hara Chathurthi as this Day is the Day to Pay Obeisance to Lord

 

GaNesha as on this Day GaNesha will remove all obstacles . Om Thath Sath.

 

But the most important of all is BHAADRAPADA SUDDHA CHAVITHI which

 

comes but once a year in August/September ( saturday , 15 September 2007 )

 

as on this Day Amma Paarvathi Mother Of All Mothers ( Ammala Kanna Amma )

 

Blessed the humanity by Ordaining that who so ever Performs Shodasa

 

Upachaara pooja to HER Beloved Son Lord GaNesha, The Entire Primordial

 

Holy Family comprising of Lord Shiva , PaarvathiDevi , Veera Bhadra ,

Sasi VarNa = Vighna Raaja is white in complexion as Moon., Vishnum.

Vakra Thunda = Trunk of GaNesha is always either turned to left or right.

 

Siddhi Vinaayaka = Known for Achievement and Accomplishment.

 

Buddhi Vinaayaka = Known for Intellect , Intelligence and Wisdom.

 

Vageesa and Vakthaaram = Lord of Spoken word and an Orator.

 

Daathaaram = Giver of Boons and Grants One's Wishes.

 

Bhraathaaram = GaNesha is a Brother to all of us , especially Children.

 

Dhoomakethu = That is HIS Name in Kaliyug.
