about janma nakshatra

Respected Gurujans,

 

I have been traditionally believing that it is not auspicious to do any

good work on janma nakshatra day (atleast we have been folllowing this

since ancestor times) . However, recently I came across some people who

think janma nakshatra day is very auspicious even for ceremonies. can

you please guide me on this

Hare ramakrishna,

 

dear bhagavathi

 

Chowlam (cutting of hair ,mundan ceremoney) vratham

(religious remedieal fasting) chandu (applying kajal on eyes -first

application) godanam (donations of cows or any donations)

 

Karna vedham ( peircing of ears of wearing ornamnets), sastra bandhanam

( means weapons for martial arts training ) ,seemantham ( a ceremoney

during pregnancy ) neerathu ( special bathing ceremoneis observed by

couples) and oushada seva ( taking medicines ) for all these janma

nakshatra shud be avoided .

 

but for marriage dont take the boys nakshatra but anu janma (10th

nakshatra ) the tri janma ( 19th nakshatra from birth star) nakshatra

can be taken . girls janma ,anu janma ,tri janma nakshatra can be taken

for marriage ceremoneis.

 

for chowlam ( cutting of hair ) ,vrath , go dan ,samavartam ( veda

adyayan) --all this even upanayana (sacred tread ceremoney )nakshatra

also shud be avoided

 

but for vastra dharanam(wearing new cloths) ,alam karam (beutification

and treatment ) ,wearing ornamnets ,and doing good deeds or karmas all

janma ,anu janma ,tri janma nakshatra can be taken

 

for all other thing its shud be avoided .

 

own rasi can be taken for griha pravesh ,own lagna etc
