Congress decides to postpone its decision on this until July. On June 11, Congress appoints a committee to draft a declaration of independence. Committee members are Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Roger Livingston and Roger Sherman. Jefferson is chosen by the committee to prepare the first draft of the declaration, which he completes in one day. Sorry, Jorge, or whoever did the rectification, but I do not see how a chart with five functional malefics, and five weak planets (Moon and Mercury in infant state, Mars in old age state, combust Jupiter, and afflicted Sun) could be the chart of the USA. The document signed on August 2nd was the Declaration of Independence, presented on July 4th. Please, select some events and check them on the chart. This was the first time since the American Revolution that USA came under the direct attack of a foreign country (Japan), and for all intents and purposes was the beginning of WWII for USA. The chart shows Jupiter main and Ketu sub period. Jupiter is a well placed benefic and the Ketu sub period gave way one month later to the well placed Venus sub period. The transit of Rahu and Ketu were not afflicting any planet or MEP. None of the malefics were close to any MEP. Sun, Mercury, Mars, Venus, and Jupiter were all well placed. Please let me know your interpretation of this event on this day. Also, could you let me know your interpretation of Oct. 24, 1929, which was Black Thursday and the Great Stock Market Crash of 1929? As you can see, the Sun and Venus are both strong. The FMPs do not afflict the MEPs. There are no planets in dusthanas. All planets are well placed and Venus, lord of the 2nd, strongly influences the 10th and 4th houses, giving a boost to American inner confidence to face any challenge and bringing a very high status. The Moon and Mercury, even though slightly weak, create somehow a dhana yoga. Jupiter adds generosity to the Sun and benefically aspects its own 4th house. And so on...
