Dear Thor,

 

The TOB 6:54 AM was previously

selected by the king himself to rise the city pillar of Bangkok (a linga

representing Shiva, containing the horoscope of the city), indicating the birth

of the new capital. (Just as a MT sign is represented by its lord, the birth of

the new Kingdom of Siam, nowadays called Thailand, is represented by the

birth of its new capital, Bangkok.) This was the

beginning of a new era for the country. After analyzing more than 20 events/dashas

in an interval between 6:30 AM and 6:59 AM, I came exactly to

the selected muhurta.

mid-18th century until the present day) saw the Thais rise from their

devastated kingdom and re-build the country into a modern state.

- King Rama I, Pounder of the present Chakri

Dynasty, was himself an accomplished astrologer. He personally calculated the 'rerk'

or auspicious date and time for the raising of Bangkok's 'Lak Muang' or City

Pillar which marked the official founding of the capital — 6.54 a.m. on

April 21st, 1782.

 

- Jao Phraya Chakri, Rama I, took over the

leadership on 6th April 1782 which eventually became Chakri Dynasty Day and the

his coronation took place on 10th June 1782. He built the new capital opposite Thouburi.

 

- King Rama I passed away on September 7, 1809 at the age of 72.

 

- 1833 Mar 20, the United States and Siam (now Thailand) concluded a

commercial treaty in Bangkok.

 

- 1868 Oct 1, Rama IV, [Phra Chomklao Chaoyuhua],

died at 63.

 

- King Vajiravudh passed away on November 26, 1925.

 

- On March 2, 1934 the King abdicated

and later died in exile, leaving the throne to his nephew, King Ananda Mahidol.

 

June 10, 1946: Ananda Mahidol, king of Siam, shot dead at 20.

Ko-lok, a resort town in Thailand's predominantely

Muslim Narathiwat province frequented primarily by Malaysians, killed one

person.

at Mamong market of Narathiwat province, also linked to separatists.

1992  May 17, Pro-democracy protests began in Thailand; in four days of

people had died recently in Phrae province from leptospirosis, a disease

transmitted by rat urine.

 

2001 Jan 18, In Bangkok 2 bombs exploded and at

least 8 people were killed.

 

2004 Apr 23, In Thailand a massive fire raced

through a slum in Bangkok.

 

2004 Apr 28, In Thailand police gunned down

machete-wielding militants who stormed security outposts in Thailand's

Muslim-dominated south, killing at least 112 people.

 

2004 Oct 25, At least 78 people were suffocated or

crushed to death after being arrested and packed into police trucks following a

riot in southern Thailand over the detentions of Muslims suspected of giving

weapons to Islamic separatists. Over 1,300 people were packed in 6-wheeled

trucks and taken on a 5-hour journey to barracks in Pattani province.
