Guest guest
Hi Group In the event anyone may wish to cast the horoscopes for the U.S. DEMOCRATIC and REPUBLICAN national political parties, herein are dates not used, to my knowledge, before by mundane astrologers. (And yes, I'm familiar with all the other dates.) I believe these dates properly characterize the current mundane realities: Republicans strong; Democrats weak. "National" REPUBLICAN Party: OCCASION: First "national" convention, a one day confab to launch the "national" party in the run-up to the June 1856 Presidential nominating convention. (Earlier recognized dates in 1853 and 1854, commonly treated as the start of the Republican party, relate to County and State initiatives only. Here we are talking "national".) PLACE: Pittsburg, Pennsylvania DATE: February 22, 1856 TIME: 05:00 pm LMT + 5:19:59 "National" DEMOCRATIC Party OCCASION: Quadrennial nominating convention, at which three day event the character and NAME of the national party underwent a fundamental platform policy change that began a new era for the Democrats. The party's adopted "stile" still unchanged effective today: "The Democratic Party" was officially first adopted at this event at the lunchtime close of the first day's platform agreement proceedings; as too was the foreign policy of territorial expansionism, in particular that year, the annexation of Texas. From this date the national Democrats were effectively reborn. PLACE: Baltimore, Maryland DATE: May 27, 1844 TIME: 1:00 pm LMT + 5:06:27 John ALL-NEW Messenger - all new features - even more fun!
