Guest guest
I believe that this cold wave will be general in USA. Ve/Sa/Sa is operational till January 9, 2005, in the USA rectified chart. Saturn, L4, being a vata and cold planet, transits Cancer, a kapha sign. Saturn is becoming weaker in transit, as it is retrograde till middle of March 2005 (which means that it is physically closer to the Earth). - Jorge Brian Conrad [jjyotish] quinta-feira, 2 de Dezembro de 2004 16:38 SAMVA Record Cold Wave in California The California San Francisco Bay Area has been suffering a record cold wave with temperatures falling below freezing. It is not unusual for us to have some weather like this but it usually in January not late November. In fact most of November was unusually cold. San Francisco broke a 100 year record the other night for coldest temperature. There have been some predictions that this may be one of the coldest winters on record for the northern hemisphere and some (including a Pentagon report) that we are in for a number of cold winters. What I also find interesting is that even the San Francisco Chronicle has not responded with much of any articles on the cold wave nor on what is causing it (like a shift in the jet stream). In past years this was quite comment. A sign of the political times? Now of course I suspect certain Icelanders would laugh at the idea of temperatures only under freezing would be a " cold snap. " Of course I find it amusing that the whole population of Iceland is probably less than the three large communities that I live near here in Contra Costa County. ;^) Here's the data for California but I also think this goes beyond the scope of regional horoscopes and more of a global issue: California State Sep 9, 1850 9:41 AM +08:00 San Jose, CA Longitude: 121W53 Latitude: 37N20 Lahiri Ayanamsha: 21:46 Current Period: SA/KE/RA - Brian
