Recently Australia recognised the 30th anniversary of cyclone Tracy (December 24 1974) , Australia's worst peace time disaster where 90 % of Darwin was flattened and there were 45 deaths.Using the chart given by Jorge Angelino at the time Rahu had stationed on MEP 3 and was joined by MMP Mars also on MEP 3. So the aspect was not mutual or one of opposition. In Indian chart the conjunction of Mercury and Venus (Taurus asdt) is in the eighth house and is aspected by Rahu from the 12th house.
