Guest guest
Thu Apr 14, 2:50 PM ET GAMBIER ISLAND, B.C. (CP) - A three-year-old boy who was sitting in a truck that rolled into the water off a Gambier Island dock has died, the RCMP said Thursday. The boy's desperate father struggled frantically to rescue his son Quinlan on Wednesday afternoon after the truck went into the water, said local resident Bob Switzer, who witnessed the incident. Mounties said the boy had been left alone in the truck with the keys in the ignition while his parents were loading supplies in the back of the vehicle. His father dove into the water, and after several tries managed to get his son out of the truck. He was rushed to Children's Hospital in Vancouver, but staff couldn't revive him, police said. Gambier Island is on the Sunshine Coast, off the coast of mainland British Columbia northwest of Vancouver. http://story.news./news?tmpl=story & cid=1845 & ncid=1845 & e=14 & u=/cpress/20050414/ca_pr_on_na/water_rescue Dear List Members, Dasha is Ra/Ra/Ra/Ve/Ra.
