Hi Mark,

 

Today your notes from your Season's of the Stars book include the following. Included are

my questions:

 

"See if you can feel Rahu's 9th house presence now, as

well."

 

But Rahu is in the 2nd house with Sagittarius. And

previously in the book you state that Rahu/Ketu aspect 7 houses away. But

the 9th house is not 7 houses away. Would you clarify?

Okay, now

to your question. First of all I'd like

to thank you again for all your questions.

You're really helping me get more precise in my Instructions,… for this

next years book.

 

Now, as

far as your question goes, the thing to understand is what Jyotish means when

it talks about Aspects.

 

Every

planet is supposed to aspect or influence the same house or sign in which it

is. This means any planets including the

Moon that move through Sagittarius this year will be directly influenced by

Rahu's 1st House aspect.

 

Rahu,

however, influence 1, 5, 7 and 9 houses or signs away from wherever it is or

transiting.

 

Rahu

influencing Sagittarius is an easy one.

Now, the way you COUNT the aspects is like this.

 

The 5th

house aspect away starts with Sagittarius as #1, then, Capricorn as #2,

Aquarius as #3, Pisces as #4 and Aries as #5. So, a few days ago, when the Moon was

traveling through Aries, the Moon was being aspected by Rahu's 5th house

aspect.

 

Now,

every planet also aspects 7 houses away from wherever they are.

 

So, we

continue the count from Rahu in Sagittarius.

If Aries is the fifth house away from Sagittarius, then, Taurus is #6

and Gemini is #7.

 

The 7th

houses aspects are probably the easiest because in the Northern Indian style

chart, the 7th houses away is directly opposite. So, even just a quick look at the chart shows

that Gemini is directly opposite to Sagittarius.

 

The 9th

House aspect then, continues from Gemini.

If Gemini

is 7 Houses or signs away from Rahu/Sagit. Then, Cancer is 8 away and finally

Leo is 9 houses or signs away from Rahu.

 

See how

it works?

 

One other

point, I like to pay close attention to the `aspects' because you can literally

feel, through the Moon's feeling and intuitive nature the exact influences and

qualities of both the `signs' that the Moon travels through, and ANY influences

that all the other planets are putting out, whether they're the Sun, Mars,

Jupiter,

Venus, or Rahu!

 

 

"...develop the Mars muscle by focusing on it, or by

strengthening the Mind."

Why the mind? In the book you describe Mercury

as being related to the mind, not Mars.

 

So, how

ya doing Paul, in terms of your actual experiences?

 

I mean

sometimes it's harder to try and intellectually understanding all the rules,

etc. but easier to find a direct correlation to your experiences.

 

When you've

gone through all these days now, how close are the predicted results from your

actual experiences?

 

I'd like

to talk to you more some time, in person, or at least over the instant

Messenger

if you'd like.

 

I have

some questions too for you. I'm

compiling people's experiences who've been enjoying the book, and will use some

of them in this next years.

 

Okay, to

answer today's last question, when I use the word `mind' remember that Jyotish

defines the Mind as being a reflection of both Mercury and the Moon!

 

Mercury

is that linear, left-brain, reasoning and intellectual part of the mind while

the Moon is the non-linear, intuitive, right-brain non-intellectual part of the

mind.

 

So, when

I'm referring to Mars, Mars is going through Cancer, the home of the Moon mind,

and therefore, one of the possible remedies for Mars' debilitation going

through Cancer, is to strength the Moon mind, itself.

 

And, in

the back of the book, there are a lot of wonderful remedies for exactly how to

strengthen the Moon mind.
