Aspects of Moon´s nodes to planets in 2005 (and Saturn in 2006)

Attached is a PowerPoint file showing the aspects of Rahu and Ketu to the planets in 2005.

 

 

The time of an aspect falling within 5 degrees is shown. The 5 degree orb applies to weak planets.

•The intensity of the affliction is not shown. The intensity is normally at peak during the middle of the aspects shown.

•An aspect by the nodes is not strongly felt if the afflicted planet is strong and the aspect is outside a 1 degree orb

•A 2 degree orb applies when both Rahu and Ketu aspect the planet – which happens when the planet is conjunct either node (on the nodal axis).

•Of note:

i) The Sun, Venus and Mercury frequently encounter the rays of the Moon´s nodes, mostly for a few days. However, this year, due to its retrograde motion, Mercury fell under the aspect of Rahu for a longer time than usual.

ii)When Mars is in Aries in second half of 2005 it receives no aspect from the nodes,

iii) Jupiter receives one aspect from Ketu in August 2005,

iv) Saturn in Cancer falls under aspect of Rahu in Pisces in late 2005.

•The intensity of a ninth house aspect of Rahu to Saturn in full strength from late September 2005 to late May 2006 is shown

•The aspect of Rahu to Saturn becomes severe in December 2005 and March and April of 2006, when some financial stress will be felt in the global economy
