Guest guest
Dear Jorge and list members, The riots in France are clearly seen in the chart rectified by you, Jorge. L2 Sun and L3 Mercury are closely afflicted by L8 Saturn and stationary placement of Rahu and Ketu. L6 is also conjunct its own natal placement in H4. For easy viewing, the chart and aspects are shown in Photos / Predictions section on SAMVA web page. Best regards, C

Guest guest
Dear Jorge, Indeed, the afflictions in the chart for France are quite numerous and difficult, which is consistent with the seriousness and protractedness of the problem. Guest guest
Dear Cosmologer, Transit Jupiter is coming closer to natal Jupiter but still afflicting natal Moon. Transit Saturn over natal Sun, natal Mercury and transit Ketu is becoming exact. Transit Rahu over transit Saturn is becoming exact. Transit Rahu/Ketu over natal Sun and natal Mercury is becoming exact. It seems things still tend to become worse. Guest guest
Dear Jorge, Thanks for your views. The discussion is hopefully concentrating our minds about the chart and the transit afflictions provoking the events. In relation to that, the timing of the events that produce strain and the duration of the strain are often different. Necessarily, concrete events precede the strain. Transit L8 Saturn, the most malefic planet in a Cancer rising chart, will approach its third house aspect to Mercury and Sun for a few more weeks, it is true. But it will not become exact before going retrograde. In my view, the impact of this aspect has now manifested in the riots, which may continue for some more days or not. The nodes are important in this regard. The nodal station is occuring fairly close on top of these same natal placements that are being afflicted by Saturn. However, this nodal station is about to end in coming weeks. The impact of L6 Jupiter is also felt to a badly placed L1 Moon in H12. This aspect has begun to seperate, while Jupiter now moves in to exact conjunction of its natal placement in late November. This aspect is contributing to the confrontational atmosphere, but not the key to the situation. Things should ease considerably when the nodal station ends in mid November, even if the nodes will not pass over the afflicted placements until early December. The strain will largely be over when Saturn has also moved back away from its afflicting aspect to L2 and L3 in early December. Guest guest
Dear Jorge and list members, In a message on 6 November, it was predicted that " Things should ease considerably when the nodal station ends in mid November. " At the same time, Jorge wrote: " ...seems there is worse to come. Let us see what happens in the near future. " According to reports on today, the riots peaked yesterday (8 November) and the worst now appears to be over. Jorge´s prediction has therefore come true and let us hope the first prediction is also coming true. Best regards, C ------------------ French Rioting Eases As Car Burnings Fall Nov 09 11:04 AM US/Eastern By D'ARCY DORAN Associated Press Writer PARIS France's storm of rioting eased Wednesday, with car burnings falling nearly by half, police said. But looters and vandals defied a state of emergency with attacks on superstores, a newspaper warehouse and a subway station. The extraordinary 12-day state of emergency, which began at midnight Tuesday, covered Paris, its suburbs and more than 30 other French cities from the Mediterranean to the border with Germany and to Rouen in the north _ an indication of how widespread arson, riots and other unrest have become in nearly two weeks of violence. The unrest began Oct. 27 and has grown into a nationwide insurrection by disillusioned suburban youths who complain of discrimination and unemployment. Although many of the French-born children of Arab and black African immigrants are Muslim, police say the violence is not being driven by Islamic groups. Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy, who previously inflamed passions by referring to troublemakers as " scum, " said 180 foreigners have been convicted for roles in the violence, and he called on local authorities to expel them. " I have asked regional prefects to expel foreigners who were convicted _ whether they have proper residency papers or not _ without delay, " he said during a National Assembly session. The emergency decree invoked a 50-year-old security law that dates to France's colonial war in Algeria that empowers officials to put troublemakers under house arrest, ban or limit the movement of people and vehicles, confiscate weapons and close public spaces where gangs gather. It also paved the way for curfews in areas where officials feel they are needed. By midday Wednesday, only a few municipalities and regions imposed them; Paris had not. During late Tuesday through early Wednesday, youths torched 617 vehicles, down from 1,173 a night earlier, national police spokesman Patrick Hamon said. Incidents were reported in 116 towns, down from 226. Police made 280 arrests, raising the total to 1,830 since the violence erupted 13 nights ago. National Police Chief Michel Gaudin said an additional 1,000 officers were deployed overnight, bringing the total to 11,500. He attributed the drop in attacks to police sweeps and cooperation from community groups. " The arrests are bearing fruit, " Interior Ministry spokesman Franck Louvrier said. " It's clear there has been a significant drop, but we must persevere. " -----
Guest guest
Dear Cosmologer, Thank you for your message. We all hope your first prediction also comes true as the malefic aspect of transit Jupiter over natal Moon is separating and will be over by November 15, and France is in Sa/Mo/Ve. Meanwhile, as transit Jupiter is applying to be exactly conjunct with natal Jupiter by November 23, and the exact aspect of transit afflicted Saturn over natal Sun/Mercury will last till middle of December, it seems some other problems can surface in the coming weeks. Guest guest
Dear Jorge, It is a bit difficult to disentangle the many adverse transit influences in the chart of France. In addition, David Hawthorne, in his most recent Astroview column, is emphasising the influence of a debilitated Sun and the aspect of Rahu to Saturn, as explaining the riots there. Clearly, these should be added to the explanation of the situation. usually empahsises the influence of the stationary nodes as a critical factor in such events. Surely other factors, especially the transit of MMP Saturn is also a big factor. A factor coloring the situation is the influence of L6 Jupiter. As the station of the nodes is now in the process of lifting, I see that as the critical factor behind the continuing reduction in street violence in France. Last night, the number of cars burned declined for the second day in a row. Accordingly, it is expected to continue to decline and then completely dissapear in coming days. Guest guest
Dear Cosmologer, You are right. There are many adverse transit influences. What is happening now on a collective level is a kind of stress release of many latent tensions that have been building up in the past. The effect of these malefic transits makes these latent tensions unbearable for some levels of society. Let us hope that this stress release can help them to support the future transit afflictions. Guest guest
Dear Jorge, and list members, The riots in France have died down and according to the police the criminal activities are now no more than they were before the riots erupted. This suggests the nodal station was influential in explaining the riots. The possibility exists that the rectified chart for France may need further study. Guest guest
Dear Cosmologer, Tomorrow, after 7:48 AM, France will enter Sa/Mo/Ve/Sa/Sa. The transits are still very difficult, so other kind of problems will come up. Best wishes, Jorge SAMVA [sAMVA ] On Behalf Of cosmologer sexta-feira, 18 de Novembro de 2005 07:25 SAMVA Re: Riots in France Dear Jorge, and list members, The riots in France have died down and according to the police the criminal activities are now no more than they were before the riots erupted. This suggests the nodal station was influential in explaining the riots. The possibility exists that the rectified chart for France may need further study. What is happening now on a collective level is a kind of stress release of many latent tensions that have been building up in the past. The effect of these malefic transits makes these latent tensions unbearable for some levels of society. Let us hope that this stress release can help them to support the future transit afflictions. > > Best wishes, > > Jorge > > > SAMVA [sAMVA ] On Behalf Of cosmologer > quinta-feira, 10 de Novembro de 2005 10:51 > SAMVA > Re: Riots in France > > Dear Jorge, > > It is a bit difficult to disentangle the many adverse transit > influences in the chart of France.
