Colombian navy offers to

aid U.S. in copter search

BOGOTA, Colombia (AP) -- The

Colombian navy has sent a ship to help search for the wreckage of a U.S.

military helicopter that crashed during an anti-drug operation off Colombia's

Pacific coast, killing all three American sailors aboard.

The helicopter, an SH-60B Seahawk, went down early Tuesday just after launching from the

frigate USS DeWert, according to the U.S. Navy.
