Airlines Plane Hits Jetway

SEATAC, Wash. -- United Airlines is investigating an accident

at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport that injured a passenger and a flight

attendant Sunday night, KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reported.

A passenger said the plane hit some part of the jetway as it

taxied, just moments before passengers expected to walk off the plane.

" It was United Flight 949 from Chicago. Everything was fine

until they lurched into the jetway,'' said a passenger who identified himself only

as " Mike. "

The passenger called us at 8 p.m.

to report the incident. He said the Boeing 757-200 he was aboard was loaded

with passengers.
