You are right. To amplify what you have already stated, Vipareeta rajyoga can be explained to be a yoga where applying the principles verbatim one should get bad results but due to two negatives operating the contrary happens, where as in Rajyogas, the principles applied verbatim give rise to Rajyoga.

You can learn more from Brhat Parasara Hora Sastra.
