accuracy of nadi predictions

Dear members:

I have an interesting thing to post here regarding the experience of

my own family members with naadi jothidam......

We had the naadi reading of one of my relative's daughter done from a

center in RAja Annamalaipuram in chennai. As usual, the nadi reader

wrote out the original verses in Tamil and also gave the readig in

casette. When I showed the original verses in Tamil to Guruji

Dakshinamoorthiji and asked him to explain the contents of it, the

delineations were different from the ones given in the casette.

(Guruji is an expert in reading chaste ancient tamil language, and

this combined with his expertise in astrology helps him to explain the

meaning of the nadi verses beautifully and accurately; unfortunately,

Guruji does not have naadi leaves with him except for some Divine

Oracle leaves). Guruji read out the verses and explained the meaning

and pointed out that the naadi reader had obviously extrapolated or

unnecessarily added his own interpretations to the meaning of the

verses which were patently wrong!

Now, I think this may be the reason why many of you here feel naadi

readings do not come true 100% of the times! Probably, what is

written in the naadi verse will have atleast 90% accuracy, and what

the naadi reader has " added " will definitely spoil the accuracy rate

as there is no basis for that.....These people seem to mix up the

results using 'common-sense.' To be more specific in the case of my

relative, the actual naadi verse had predicted that 'The second

marriage will take place in the 32nd or 33rd year of the native'.

The naadi reader had combined some general principles of transits and

added his own 'flavour' to the reading! The native concerned is

running 31 years now and is under a favourable transit of Jupiter.

So, the naadi reader had taped the reading as 'marriage may take place

before September; the first spouse will give some obstacles to the

marriage; but by performance of remedies, all obstacles will be won

over. If the marriage does not take place before September this year,

then marriage will take place between 32nd and 33rd years'.

So, you can see the difference for yourselves! What had been clearly

predicted in the naadi had been tampered when the naadi reader had

taped the reading. If these people refrain from doing these unethical

practices, then probably all will be able to appreciate the accuracy

of the naadi readings. Luckily for our family, we had Guruji.

Needless to say, we checked ourselves from falling into the trap of

performing the " false remedies to get the marriage done before

September! "

I think the best course will be to get the naadi verses written down

in a legible handwriting and then get them explained by a person

competent in both astrology and ancient Tamil usages. Even then,

there may be the case of the odd addition or deviation of verses....

but, atleast the majority of the prediction will be intact in such a

course!

Best regards,

Dear Shri Mohanram,

Thanks for sharing your experience. Your caution is very useful.

Reading and interpreting the verses is the most vital part after

identifying the correct Leaf.

I think it is time for the emergence of professional readers of Nadi

Leaves. Experts like your Guruji may impart the education in a

systematic manner to aspirants. These aspirants may be from the

families having custody of leaves or from outside the clan. The

custodians of leaves will also be benefited by employing skillful

readers from outside their clan. It will be a win-win-win situation

for the custodians, readers and the natives.

Regards.

Atharvan.

Is there no Nadi reader/Nadi astrologer who is a member of this

group. There are so many questions and doubts raised about Naadi

astrology by multiple people in this group. Can some Naadi reader

answer this , instead of we others debating the IFs and BUTs of these

things.
