I have met 3 Nadi readers in Hyd and here are my experiences: 1999: I met a Agasthya Nadi Guy -------------------------------- As usual after a long interview, he casted my horoscpe ( which is different from the horoscope i have). When i pointed that, he said it is as per tamil panchang. MyData: Male , 30 June 1971, 6.00 AM (accurate to 5 min), 81E47, 16N59 As per the horoscope i have , its Gemini , Ascendent , Sun, Mercury Cancer ketu Virgo Moon Scorp Jup ® Capricorn Mars,Rahu Taurus Venus,Sat The Agastya Nadi person prepared as follows: ----------- Gemini , Ascendent , Sun Cancer ketu , Mercury Virgo Moon Scorp Jup ® Capricorn Rahu Aquar Mars Taurus Venus,Sat However he has taken the same date and time ! His prediction is that i will have one son and one daughter - i have 2 daughters! 2001: I met another Agasthya Nadi Guy ---- He casted the same horoscope but predicted a divorce within 3 years , by gods' grace the prediciton failed and we wish it will fail forever. I also got 13,14 chapter read and he suggested some pujas and mantra but refused to give the procedure since only his Guru has to do it. Also suggested gifting yellow cloths and 1001/- to nadi reader as a pariharam I thanked him and returned back. 2006: I met a siva nadi Guy --------------------------- He casted my scope as below: Gemini , Ascendent , Sun , Mercury Cancer ketu Leo Moon Scorp Jup ® Capricorn Rahu Aquar Mars Taurus Venus,Sat Surprisingly, this time all planets except moon are matched with the computer generated horoscope - but moon jumped back to Leo and the Guy said my Rasi is Leo for the same birth time and date. I checked the software with various times, but for that date one can not get Moon in Leo !!! One thing i surprized is that the reader asked many times whether my rasi is Kanya / Simham and i kept on telling him that i am not aware of it! I guess he reckoned my rasi as leo and started threating predictions that SadeSati is going to trouble me a lot and i am supposed to get my 13 & 14 chapters read and get the remidies. Since i am suspecting that he has picked the wrong nadi , i quitley thanked him and came out. Observations: ------------- Horoscopes prepared by both the agastya nadi guys match each other but are different from the one i have generated by software. They are not matching with Lahiri / Raman / Kp etc However i could generate a similar horoscope at the website http://www.astraura.org/ using Vakya System. Horoscope prepared by Siva Nadi guy , almost matches with Horoscope prepared with Software using Lahiri / Raman ayanamsa, but differed by the Janma Rasi itself (could be becase i did not give a clue of my rasi to the reader even after he pestered me repeatedly) If any one has any reliable horoscope preapared by any Nadi reader in hyderabad, please let me know and i will visit them - i am interested in experimenting!!! By the way, i tried to calculate my Nadi Amsa with the procedure given by Honourable Rayudu and arrvied at 'Dhruva'. However one of my friend said it could be 'Musalaa' and its reading can be had from Deva Keralam - I have ordered that book , could not get it so far. If any one has that book / old copies of Astrological magazines, can u share with me what they say about the Nadi amsas 1. Musalaa and 2. Dhruva?
