The horoscopes, which are supposed to be written on the strips, reveal that the strips cannot be older than about 1700 years. The Greeks introduced such horoscopes in India about 1700 years ago. Before that period the Rashis (Zodiac signs) were not known in India. They are an integral part of a horoscope. The omniscient sages had no need to prepare horoscopes for making their predictions since a common man cannot read the script.
