Guest guest
I am glad to see so lot of people giving their fair opinions on their experiences on naadi. Also members taking bold stand for e.g.: Aries mail, in spite of criticism by one dimensional believers was refreshing and also honest fair mails like Madhusudan one. However it seems whenever there is a fair discussion on validity of naadi system , there seem to be not much discussion on this and only new entrants into this talk about it whereas the exact opposite is required. Members who have lived through it and who has more experience should have more inputs on this. Sadly this is lacking in this forum. They seem to be interested in putting their views only when there is promotion of naadi is required. My purpose of writing this mail is for asking fundamental question. “What is the purpose of Naadi Astrology”? I don’t think it was written for the sole purpose of writing history of individuals who are not so great to deserve such an honor. I feel the purpose seems only to guide at that particular event of life where you must be in trouble and to guide you for proper direction. If whole life is written, then what’s the point of life? No fun in it. My journey with naadi started when I had some troubles. One friend suggested about naadi and said not only reasons for troubles will be known, but entire life will be known exact year wise. I thought it’s impossible if that’s the case, then what’s the fun in life? Thankfully that’s not the case it seems. Naadi doesn’t give you exact life story. In fact there is something more to it. May be in future I should find it out. It’s been only 2 months now. J I invite all the members to give their opinions on my poser – What’s the purpose of writing naadi by our great Maharishi’s? I am not sure whether this has been discussed before and whether I am repeating the same thing. Please let me know if that’s the case. Guest guest
Whats the purpose of Naadi Astrology ??This is really a good question. When i saw my naadi and the past birth, i was ashamed at the sins which i commited in my past birth. I took that in my conscience and have tried to be a better person since then.I have also known a friend of mine who went to see his naadi. He is separated from his wife. While seeing his past birth he was told that he had commited great sins against his wife in his previous birth and that is why he is suffering on account of those actions in this birth. The positive outcome was that he made up his mind to patch up with his wife and has since become very understanding to her. I believe that the sages want nothing but they expect us to reform and be helpful to society in which we live. They tell us about the wrong actions of our past birth and give us an opportunity to be better human beings. They also give us solutions to ward off any harmfull effects of previous karma which are or will be influencing our life.regards,ms --- On Sat, 5/3/08, ~Rohit~ <rrohit_123 wrote:~Rohit~ <rrohit_123 Whats the purpose of Naadi Astrology ?? Guest guest
Dear Mr.MS, Regarding past birth, I have some doubts which no one could clarify so far. I wrote to Shashikantji also that some research is needed into specific cases to show that man's present life is entirely due to the good or bad he did in his previous birth.I gave the specific case of President Bush who committed atrocities in Iraq and ruined the country in the name of democracy. What is the good he would have done in his previous birth to escape scotfree in this life without anybody bothering to question even?Definitely there is something more which nobody has found so far. Nadi Research should throw some light and give wide publicity so that people will understand the cause and effect. There is no use of simply telling without concrete examples like the one I cited. Guest guest
Thanks for your reply. I quite agree to the essence of the mail that we need to realize our past birth mistake and rectify our karma and do good deeds, however I do not quite agree with this past birth system predicted by naadi system. After visiting 5-6 readers, what I realized that they weave a story as per our current circumstances and place it in the area which they like, normally away from birth place but near to India or long corners of India. For realizing our past birth sins, we shouldn’t need this naadi miracle I suppose, our inner realization is good enough. As you mentioned in the other mail, it seems more art than miracle. Guest guest
Hi Guys In my opinion, The main goal of Naadi Astrology was to help people spiritually and not materially. Afterall the Sanskrit work " Jyotisa " itself means " guide to the light " in english. In today's world trying to maintain and grow their spirituality is a near impossible task for many. So who best to seek advise from but from the great sages themselves who themselves have manage reached to the very top. Those who seek out the Naadis for purely material reasons might not notice this. But you will find that the sages' words always tends to fill with joy when they are given an opportunity to talk about an avatar or a saint or even on normal everyday spiritual matters. Thanking You Hari , ~Rohit~ <rrohit_123 wrote: > > Thanks for your reply.
