Guest guest Posted November 23, 2009 Report Share Posted November 23, 2009 Hello Friends, My name is Pramod Pacher, I will be taking a 4 days off from work in December.I wish to make a trip to Shirdi,ShaniSingapur & Trimbakeshwar during that time. The reason why I put this across in this forum is because I seek help from people who have been there & gone to the places I mentioned to advise me & guide me as to what could be the best manner in going to these places from Mumbai. I have been to Shirdi by Bus from Mumbai.How do I get to Trimbakeshwar from there.What would be the preferred weekdays to go to that Temple.Are there any economic hotels to lodge there.Should I go to Trimbakeshwar first & then to Shirdi.Are there any other temples around that area that I can visit.What if I go by train to Nashik & 1st visit Trimbakeshwar & later visit Shirdi Singapur. You could go from Mumbai to Shirdi either by Bus or i believe there is an overnight train also. So if you want to sleep comfortably and travel you could take the train instead. From Shirdi it is quite easy to go to the Shani temple in Singapur. Once you are on the main road opposite to the temple you will hear a lot of taxis shouting looking for passenger going to Singapur. You could go and come back for Singapur the same day. A One way trip should take around 3 hrs. I believe that the temple in Singapur is extremly crowded on Saturday. Also in Shirdi the maximum crowd will be on Thursday's Sunday and Saturday(in that Order). So plan accordingly. I dont have much info on Trimbakeshwar.
