dear, the only difference is that the lagan is always taken as aries in laalkitab kundli, the planets position does not changes but we omit the rashis and take first house as first rashi... means rashis are fixed along with houses in laalkitab and they does not move... if ur father does not have kundli then he can tell following things: 1) full name 2) name given at birth time... 3) favorite colour 4) tell any number from 0-95) and scan of both hands. then i can solve your father problem...
