Transit strain in Spring 2006

Hello list, Attached is a .gif file containing a visual representation of the transit of Saturn and Rahu in the Spring of 2006, when they will both be stationary around 10° 30´ in the signs of Cancer and Pisces, respectively. The peak of the aspect is from late March to mid April 2006. At that time, the aspect of Rahu to Saturn will become exact as well as the aspect from Saturn to Ketu, further accentuating the influence. As a result, the transit strain should be felt in mundane charts with this degree either as midpoint of the MEPs or with natal planets at that degree in even signs. All charts with MEPs or natal nodes at 10° in the even signs will feel the impact of this transit, but especially Cancer, Virgo and Pisces, where Saturn becomes a functional malefic planet and hence the aspect from Saturn to Ketu becomes an additional harmful influence. Fortunately,

for these ascendants, these slow moving planets are presently in benefic houses, reducing the maleficience somewhat. Possibly Cancer ascendants face the toughest challenge as Saturn also becomes most malefic planet (MMP). The chart for the political unification of Germany has 10° 41´ Cancer rising with Ketu natally closely conjunct H1 MEP and aspecting H5, H7 and H9. Rahu natally afflicts H7, H11, H1 and H3. This combination is also widely conjunct L6 Jupiter in H1. Sa/Ke period will be running in the Spring 2006 - when L8 Saturn and Rahu will be afflicting these placements. Saturn will further be harmed by the aspect from Rahu and period lord Ketu natally harmed by the aspect from transit Saturn and Rahu, both natally and in transit. Saturn will then also be harming transit Ketu. Finally, the nodes and Saturn will also be closely harming a combust and debilitated L4 Venus in H3 at 8° 04 Virgo. The

stationary FMs and period running suggest a very difficult time for Germany in the Spring 2006. Another example of a country possibly affected is seen in the Independence chart for Australia with 14° 54´Virgo ascendant and a debilitated Rahu at 8° 54´ Scorpio. It is running Ke/Su with Sun natally afflicting Saturn in H4. Tr Ketu will be aspecting natal Ketu in H9. This chart shows far less problems than the chart for Germany. These transits will be interesting to follow from a predictive standpoint - for the purpose of adding evidence about these and other similarily affected mundane charts. Best regards, C
