That seems to be another manifestation of Rahu affliction to Saturn (ruling workers) consistent to predictions.

Here in Quebec, the 700 workers of a famous northern ski station went on strike over their collective labour agreement.

The strike is paralysing the economic activities of the Laurentians the most important tourism region.

Moreover, the snowmobiling industry is also disrupted. This time it is the farmers that prohibit for the first time this winter

Thank you Jorge for the reminder. As this is a long term affliction, it gives us the opportunity to observe the qualities of Rahu at work which is generally described in SA as resorting to manipulation, diplomacy and giving short term benefits after great efforts. On the mundane level, we see that one social group through selfishness is unwilling to share prosperity and the other unsatisfied of its working conditions uses pressure tactics. In the long run, everyone seem to lose something while the whole society and economy suffers.
