Hi Rafal,

How do you see troubles to vehicles from D-16 ? I have been lately

having lotsa problems with my car and there is still no respire.

I just had a quick glance at my D-16 and I am running the period of

Me-Mars as per Dwi-saptati dasa.

Me is lord of 5 (maraka for 4th) and 8th houses, Mars is lord of 3rd

and 10th (another maraka).

Let me know if my reasoning is correct and when can I see some

relief. Chart details are 27th July 1976, 6:25am, India (76e46,

30n44).

Dear Sameer,

Mars is the dispositor of the nodes in the tenth, and the tenth is very

bad (from obvious reason) in the D16 per Atri lecture of Sanjayji. Your

analysis is good as the marakas to the forth and arudha of forth are

giving problems, now my Guruji said me in Serbia that nodes influencing

A4 gives problems to the car. In Your case also Sani is in the ninth

as Lagnesh, was father somehow involved?

Rahu should be very bad as its maraka to house and arudha of four.

vehicle I bought in June'02 by availing car loan via my office.

Dear Rafal, I was checking my Shodasamsa because this thread was intersting to me. I have 4 planets in lagna in my D16 (PL6 shows 6 incl Ra+Ke), rest of them are in kendras. My vehicle status is mediocre compared to my peers, yet I consider it spectacular because 1. My Honda Accord EX is the only gr8 deal I ever had with vehicles, where I brought it for a low mileage & low price from one of my students who was upgrading to a BMW M3. I am now running 200K miles though it is #1 in maintenance costs. 2. My white elephant 4Runner that cost $43K if I were to consider the rip off in upgrades, financing and bying back the residual from my ex 3. My current GF Harley Davidson who is expensive to keep pretty & maintain but will never break my heart. 4. My Honda dirt bike to ride up

the mountains in the neighbourhood with my kid. I also hold a pilots license and do boats. However I am not to fascinated about speed or power. I have been driving last 25 yrs without and major incident. Despite all this I am way behind my contemproraries and peers who go about in more becoming vehicles. I always had vehicles and for the the first 18 yrs relied on my Dad who has had good fotune with vehicles himself. I think that Vahana has a larger index on Desh in the Desh Kala Parasthiti, In Southern California where public transportaion is poor, my maid drives a nice car and my gardener has more vehicles than me. I have responded to VAHANA Yoga - Yoga for (means of) CONVEYANCE.

Hence, 4th house is involved and for the fruits to be enjoyed by the native, Lagna also is involved.

Rafal had mentioned "Bhagyavahana" Yoga - BHAGYA(Fortune) + VAHANA(Conveyance) . Therefore, other indicators of BHAGYA become more important. That would cover most of the DHAN(Wealth) Yogas.

And since the presumption is that a wealthy person will definitely have all means of luxury, VAHANA included, what Rafal says is also fully applicable, but on a broader level. If you observe carefully, these are either Kendra+KONA or Kendra/Kona+ 11th House yogas.

Dear Michal,

Guruji taught me that Lagnesh must be there or ninth lord in Lagna, rasi drsti will still show outer influence while we must remember that this is to general as lagnesh will always show our attitude, while the a4 yuti method is more correct.
