year. This is standard for all health problems.

Correction: The childs name should be that of Ganesh, i.e. Siddhi,

Riddhi or Buddhi or the likes are names for Ganesha's wives. Still

Ishta Devata is involved in the curse, i.e. Ketu.

Is it because all souls at their purest are divine, or because you do see some measure of divinity inherent in the samskara that this atman carries with it? If latter, please do tell us how to see the same. Here are the things I looked at to have some understanding of spiritual quotient of this chart - The gati indicated from 4th from Karakamsa has neecha Rahu yuti Mangala. I need not say the obvious here. Vrischika sukra in the 3rd from Arudha lagna could lead the jataka to loose interest in relationships mainly because she finds them tormenting (marana karaka sthana of karaka for relationships), and not because she finds that there is a higher goal to achieve by renouncing relationships and taking sanyasa. Ketu conjoins the arudha pada in kanya and is the 6th lord but is neecha in Navamsa. Again, does not point towards very high interest in spirituality. But, I am trying to see how you arrived at the conclusion that 12th bhavesha from Atmakaraka involved in this curse caused immobility of the body. In the mother's chart, I am finding it hard to see how the main curse of Budha caused by Surya and Shani in the randhar bhava, and not involving the 5th in any way (panchama bhava not involved, Guru karaka not involved, panchamesha not involved) could have given such personal suffering on account of her second child. I am trying to see the link between main curse of budha in randhar bhava and secondary curse of chandra in panchama bhava, and how could we have arrived at the conclusion of her children suffering before the fact? If I had seen this chart before she had her second child, I would not have focused on the secondary curse. I would have instead focused on the curse of the 8th lord Budha. I would have talked about the potentiality of disease (due to past sins) among the entire range of possibilities resulting from this primary curse because of the involvement of randhar bhava, bhavesha, bhava karaka, and naisargika karaka for health. Curse of chandra does not explain her children related suffering (given that naisargika karaka and panchamesha Guru is not afflicted) without taking into consideration the fact that chandra is also the badhaka. Really, how could we have zeroed in on the children aspect?There are a couple more things I'd like to understand/brainstorm about this unfortunate case:1) Considering that this lady is on her first upapada, could the mere presence of Shani in the 9th from upapada suggest that the lady would have been more happier adopting her children instead of having biological progeny?2) In the child's chart, the badhaka Guru is vargottama. Could this have played any role in the "mentally challenged" aspect of her illness? If no, how can we explain her mental disability? Through affliction of pakesha?3) Also, why did you suggest Sri Ganesha as the Ishta when Ketu is neecha in navamsa?
