I was going through some charts that I have and found a “tattva conflict” due to Krishna Trayodasi thithi and Guru vara, both lorded by Jupiter. Scorpio is the Lagna with Jupiter on 11th house. Dakshinamurti is Shiva as the teacher (hence also associated with Jupiter) specifically is meant to overcome Surya-grahaa (when Rahu eclipses Sun), hence is the form of the Guru with Agni in it (to overcome Tattva-conflict between Vara and Tithi). This worship can overcome wealth problems. Relationship problems due to such a conflict can be countered by Dattatreya worship. Hence, Devata and Tattva of Devata has to be taken into account when prescribing remedies for Tattva-conflicts. I.e. had it been Punarvasu, Vishakha or Purvabhadra nakshatra and Garija Karana then the worship would not be for Dakshinamurty nor Dattatreya. Instead Vyasa could be prescribed. Do you mean we have to consider the nakshatra of the graha lording tithi+vara, and hence the cause of conflict, or the birth nakshatra? 2. The Devata has to be the Guru form of that nakshatra and the Tattva of that Devata then be seen OR Guru form if lord of mashatra is Jupiter?
