Do you mean we have to consider the nakshatra of the graha lording tithi+vara, and hence the cause of conflict, or the birth nakshatra? 2. The Devata has to be the Guru form of that nakshatra and the Tattva of that Devata then be seen OR Guru form if lord of mashatra is Jupiter? My reference to Nakshatra was to the Janma Nakshatra and its association with the lord of the Karana where they being Vayu and Prthvi Tattva respectively cause a conflict once associating. The reference to the Guru was purely because in the example Jupiter was the Tithi and Vara lord. Guest guest Posted January 21, 2009 Report Share Posted January 21, 2009 Dear Visti, If i understood correctly, then Tattva of the Devata has to be in accordance with the tattva that is under conflict (agni for vara, jala for tithi etc)? but Devata pertaining to which panchanga element would be preferred - e.g. in tithi-vara conflict - is it vara (agni type) or tithi (jala type): i think in the example below u indicate it wud be depending on the problem/target area of life....please can u clarify why u said wealth for vara; since vara wud signify health. If the Vara-Tithi conflict influences the second house then it may afflict wealth as Agni signifies resources. Similarly if it associates with lagna it can affect health. Tithi is Jala tattva and hence a tithi-vara dosha association with fifth house can affect children whilst with the seventh it affects relationships. In this way you can differentiate and based on the problem advise the appropriate Devata based on 1. the Graha afflicted by the Dosha and 2. the Tattva of the Dosha. Example, if someone is born in Ashtami tithi (Lord-Rahu) then how to assess vara-tithi tatwa conflict, as no vara is lorded by Rahu. Similarly, if someone is born in Rahu owned nakshatra, then how to assess nakshatra-karna tatwa conflict, as no karna is lorded by Rahu. --------- 2. In tatwa conflict, we are looking for the same lordship of Vara_tithi and nakshatra_karna. When is the tatwa of tithis (Nanda,Bhadra...) to be used? --------- 3. The tatwa of tithi in your book (Page 4) and that in Brhat Nakshatra (P 49) fiffer in tatwa classification. Is there some aspects more to understand in this regards. Your wisdom is required.
