Vimshottari Dasa starting from other reference points

Pranams to all learned members,

 

For most part while looking at charts I use the normal Vimshottari dasa (from Janma Tara) or based

on some conditions in the chart switch to Conditional dasas like Dwisaptati or Chaturaseeti or Shatabdika etc.,

As required may be add other Rasi dasas Narayana, Moola, Shoola etc.,

 

 

I have followed PVR Narasimhaji's MP3s - As far as I can recollect PVRji has covered Tribhagi Vimshottari in detail

and has references of Lagna Sphuta Vimshottari.

 

I would like to know when/how to use alternative start points/references for Vimshottari dasa like Utpanna, Kshema or Adhana etc.,

JHora has like 10-15 references points in the drop down box.

 

I would greatly appreciate if somebody could provide us some detailed explanation / links to articles / PDFs about this topic.
