If you think for a minute, sun will be 2nd lord in cancer rising kundalis and since cancer is chara rashi, sun in 11th would be placed in badhaksthana. Earnings may not translate into savings. I have personally found that planets in badhaksthana are afflicted. Some people include 'badhakesha' as tainted too but I think that requires that badhakesha is also otherwise tainted, such as in being the kharesh or evil otherwise. Please understand that there could be other modulating influences such as aspects, strength and relative strengths of the planets being examined and appropriate dashas etc. Only after including several considerations must be the guilty as charged sentence pronounced on astro indicators. Generally if sun is in 4th house, 7th house or in 9th house from Lagna, it may not prove beneficial, specially for money matters & relations. However, if in 8th house from Lagna, it might indicate inheritance paternal property. Badhak or Badhaksthana is not end of astrology--if we cant explain anything for bad results, it is a good excuse by using such concepts like Badhak & stuff. Late Guru Ravindrantha Tagore got everything in his Dasa of Mercury(i.e. a Badhakesh for him), he got Noble Prize for Gitanjali etc.So where did he have problem during " Badhak Dasha " ??? The superintendent of the hospital is not creating the diseases but may actually be a good doctor! And yet he governs the home of sickness: the hospital! Or for a more gruesome example, the owner of the morgue is not causing the death even though he owns or manages the place where death prevails! Let us look at details you are saying Sun is in Taurus that makes it the month is May-June. Jupiter is retrograde in Scorpio. That will make it the year 1971 but Saturn was not in Libra. If lagnesh sits in ninth then 2L will not act as Marakesh, except Ju Mahadasa! AL in fifth here shows that person will be like Mars and Sun. It shows that all is gained due to hard work. It also shatters the image due to wrong fights and arguments, especially with mother or motherly figures. Rahu in 12 is blessing of Ganesha, whilst Budha in tenth is good for buisness and skills. Saturn Mahadasha started in 2003 and Saturn-Saturn was good while saturn mercury is causing a hell lot of troubles.... Some more inputs here are : Taurus Lagna, lord placed in 11th house where it is exalted. Badhakesh (also 9th and 10th lord-yogakarak) shani placed in virgo (5th house). This saturn is having parivartan yog with mercury which is lord of 2nd and 5th and placed in 10th house (with ketu)....
