Sun is in the star of sat which is in the 10th house and in the sub of venus which is in the 8th house (represents retirement benefits, obstacles etc with respect to 10th house). Saturn is in the star of Ketu and ketu represents venus and ketu is in the 12 house. Saturn is in the sub of ketu itself. So there is loss with respect to 8th house matters. Venus is in the 8th house in the star of mars which is in the 11th house of gains. However, since venus is in the sub of venus itself, it represents 8th house. Tell me, whether it is correct. As per nirayana, the lagna is Thula rasi & the venus is in the 9th house along with mercury in its own rasi. But in the Bhava chart venus goes to 8th. So kindly clarify if what you said about venus being in the 8th is according to KP system or Nirayana - bhava chart. As for the karma bhava - don't you think Sun Being the karaka for Lagna / atma/ pitra / karma being in karma stana along with saturn in the nakshtra of saturn shall make him do jobs that are of very low nature - attributed to saturn?. Even then Sun in the 10th - sthana-bala (being most powerfull in the 10th) should give him authority. Any way he has / is not worked any where where he might have had pension / retirement benefits and what he is today , is almost the same as what he has been 20years back. But frankly, I missed the Bhava chart and venus being in the 8th (not as per KP system) which you pointed out. relationship of venus & mars through their nakshtras beats me though. As regards, venus in star of mars and sub of venus, though mars represents 11th house of gains, since venus is in the sub of venus itself (which represents 8th house), 11th house results are negated or you can also say that windfall gains (since 8th house and 11th house are involved). Yes it is true that, sun being in saturn star will involve doing low status jobs. Moreover, sun is in he sub of venus (8th house) which again reiterates low status jobs. Though sun is have sthan bal, since it is in the star of sat the authority will not be there. It could have been possible, had sun been in jupiter's or mersury's star (but sub also should be favorable). Guest guest Posted February 7, 2009 Report Share Posted February 7, 2009 Dear Gaurav, One difference I have noted since your post is the difference in the position of saturn, as per my software (which I had designed) as well many others except jagannatha hora, saturn is in 29:57 in Karkata while in the later it is 0:21 leo. I am not sure why there is a difference in these softwares. Even in the traditions chart, saturn was in karkataka. I must do more research on this. Even if we accept that saturn is in leo, mind you , this is Gandanda - as you pointed 4 & 5th lord in gandanda & satru rasi- what it should do ? , and considering he is going through the saturn bhukti (with neecha navamsaka & kroora drekana), it should be extremely bad. The only difference I have found is he is doing a manial job - as a waiter in small non veg hotel, cleaning the left -over plates etc. BUT his eldest son got married to nice girl from a respected middle class family in which all the relatives & friends attended. So can we take that saturn is all bad? 5th lord ( children) in gandanda - satru rasi, neecha amsaka & kroora shashtiamsa - are these any good for progeny. But if we consider Saturn to be Karkata rasi which is not as bad as leo for saturn, then his navamsa falls in Meena rasi & drekana is shubha namely Heramba - ganesh. He has two well educated sons who are having very good jobs and both are working in financial sectors (remember - jupiter). can we infer same result if the lord of 5th house is in leo with navamsa in aries, kroora shashtiamsa etc with most of it associated with agneya grihas ? further are we considering this period only?
