Here is a bit more info.

She is always struggling financially.

Currently this lady is a teacher, before that she was stay at home mother. She is a religious and sentimental lady, very good hearted, loves her children dearly, raised them almost entirely herself because husbands werent around.

..Her children are struggling to make a place for themselves in life. The younger 2 come into some dangerous situations past few years.

First childs father went to prison when child was just a few years, he was killed in prison, even though he wasnt supposed to be in there for very long.

The second husband and father of the younger 2 children was an angry man and left her, after the birth of her son. He passed away a few years ago.

She has had some misc short lived relationships in between, but has since given up on finding another spouse.

Dear Lakshmi, This Maha Dasa doesn't necessarily mean a threat to children, since grahas placed in bhava refer on approach to certain life area. Since malefic is placed there, her attitude towards own children is not really example of perfect attitude. Also, this same combination of 9th and 7th lord as Rahu/Guru could show that children came sudden while she was still in relationship with her ex (late) husband even before they made a concrete decision to get married.

Rahu MD can bring lack of support for her own ideals (9th) and desires (7th) in some relation with children, for example. For Ra/Gu combination Shiva mantras are solution. Shiva Panchakshari seems very nice for her (Namah Shivaya). I would be more worried for her health since 2nd bhava from AD is A8. (Guru is badhakesh, joined Ra in 5th, how is she doing with gall bladder?) Lord of 5th bhava placed in 8th shows that concrete decisions related to children are quite good for children, but not necessarily for this lady. A5 is how children manifest in this world. Joined with Sukra, they can be pretty much charming It is not so good that A5 is joined with A6 though. Lives of each individual child are to be seen from Saptamsha chart (and threats too). Dear, here I come to the point where I have a serious problem, since I am having some 5-7 different versions available on how this divisional chart should be interpreted.
