Dear Vistiji - Query re lecture on profession

Namaskar dear Vistiji,

 

After listening to your lecture on profession, I tried to find out which

profession suits me the best. You said planets in trines to navamsa lagna give

long lasting profession. I have Ketu in lagna, Jupiter-Mercury-Venus in 9th. You

said in your lecture, Ketu and Jupiter give knowledge of jyotish if they are

strong. Will I be able be an astrologer or do something else? My details are

07.01.1980, 1.58 am, Ahmadabad, Gujarat, India.

 

I will be blessed if you could guide me.

I am giving my views here. I request Vistiji to rectify my mistakes, so

that i can learn abt the subject matter, and Kumar gets a good advice.

I believe that a job as Software consultant is best suited for Kumar ji.

The reasons are as follows

Ve is well placed in quadrants in rasi. It is in trine to AK as well as

lagnamsa in d9. In d10 also Ve is exalted in house of service (6th).

Ke gives argala to Ve in d1, is in trines in d9, so ability to deal with

sofware is there. Further Ju is aspecting Ve in d1, d9 as well as d10.

So, there are good prospects in the field.

 

I think you will have good ability as an astrologer. You might try to

learn from research as Ju is in 8th house in d24. Ve is in 2nd in d24.

So Kumar might receive high level education in this field.

Dear Namitaji,

 

Thanks for analysing my chart.

 

I went through Vistiji’s lecture on dasamsa to find out my likely direction in terms of work. From my guess, even though I have Venus in 6th in his own house in dasamsa, it is a marankarka sthana for him. On the other hand, I have Saturn in 7th and have aspect of Mars, Moon and Rahu on it which makes my 7th house stronger. Moreover my A3 and A7 exchange houses which I guess is good for initiative and fulfilment of desire in business.

 

Namitaji you said I have some kind of future in software consultancy but I have a masters degree in accounting and have not been exposed to computer software field at all. I have great desire and aspiration to start something of my own though software consultancy is an unlikely field for me.

 

However, these are my guesses and I would request other learned members to rectify me. I have absolutely no idea of type of profession or business I would do and the timing.

 

I would be highly obliged if respected Vistiji and other could have look.

I noticed that Ve is in MKS in ur dasamsa. However I feel that its

placement in its own house along with aspects of sun and Ju would mean

that you will be able to successfully overcome the obstacles in ur path.

I feel that u will have difficult path ending in success and fame. Ve is

powerful being your AK as well as lagna lord. Although this also means

that the problems in career, caused by Ve in MKS will weigh heavily on

your heart and mind.

I said software consultancy because of Ke and Ve in trines to d9.

However this was too limited Ke and Ve might mean other things also.

This also indicates a good knowledge of statistics. Me in trines gives

knowledge of finances, so you chart shows your skills and abilities in

your chosen path.

That you currently have a strong inclination towards business may be due

to Moon dasa, as moon is having dristi on the 7th. Since Mo also has

Rasi dristi on 7th along with mars this may have permanence. but i feel

it would be an add on rather than replacement to service.

Im not sure but ur work related to 7th house may have something to do

with hospitals. May be you can provide financial services to hospitals

or venture into health insurance.

 

Please let me know your views about this as it will help me to learn

more. I am also waiting for advice from experienced members who could

take this analysis in right direction

Dear Namitaji,

 

I was thinking about what one needs have to start something independent and survive in business. Things came in my mind were second house as this shows availability of finances; good influence of Mars as it it natural karaka of entrepreneurship, risk taking ability and success in competition and of course good luck and fortune. On the other hand to be successful in service one has to have good mercury as it shows communication skills; good influence of Saturn as it is natural karka of service and may be Sun. Also one has to consider argala on 6th and 7th houses and arudhas as well I guess. How do you think these aspect look in my chart? Kindly give your views as I can only see the very obvious but unable to see the finer points.

 

Just before I conclude, I read some where that Saturn, karka of 6th house in 7th will promote service and Venus karaka of 7th house in 6th will make one do some kind of business. This made me more confused.

What You said is right. Influence of these plants in your chart seem to

be encouraging. About the Ve-Sa its a case of karaka parivartana. It

means that if you do business it will be like service. this could mean

that u will be working in the service industry. or u might work for a

co. where you have investment thus u become a part of owner along with

employee.

 

I think that you should be able to attain good fame in your job. This

recognition will lead to good opportunities for starting out on

ownership. You might get offers in Ve antardasa. Finances should not be

a problem for you as debilitated Ju is in 2nd. the 8th has Su and dristi

of ve, so loan or public funding should be available if required.
