Dear Visti Ji and list members, Namaskaar.

I was reading on family members born having the same janm nakshatras and the

dosh that they witness in time. Particularly so in health for the younger, if

the birth of the 2 are in the same nakshatra pada. You provided your own chart

as an example, along with the remedy.

I have come across a family where a Father and daughter share not only the same

nakshatra (Purva Phalguni), but also in the same nakshatra pada (3rd).

Father:

Daughter:

July 14, 1983. Time - 16:15hrs. Place: New Delhi, India.

(I suspect 16:04hrs to correct Navamsha, but the janm Nakshatra stays the same)

Father:

November 29, 1953. Time – 10:19hrs. Place: New Delhi, India.

Now, I feel that once the daughter moves away, be it for career or marriage,

etc, she will suffer some physical hardship or health issues will reveal itself.

Based on the above, can the daughter start worshipping Bhaaga Devta (Nakshatra

lord)? If so, 2 questions arise:

1) Timing – i.e. If mantra / remedy is to be imparted tansitting Jupiter (Guru)

is having Rashi drishti to Mantra Pada (A5). On the other hand, Jupiter's

transit, when in Pisces (Meena Rashi) will have Graha Drishti to the Mantra Pada

and the Lagna.

2) Actual worship – What mantra, or worship can be recommended? i.e. can a

mantra be imparted?

I am not familiar with many such charts, so would welcome any suggestions or

thoughts by members. For (2), for example, my thoughts are if a mantra calling

upon or praising Bhaga Dev, along with a Jala Bija (Nakshatra ruled by jala

tatwa Shukra) may be beneficial. Particular day / syllables are also to be

determined.

However, this is just my logical guess.

Thank you for reading.

Best wishes,

Nitin.

ॠगà¥à¤°à¤µà¥‡ नमःDear Nitin, Namaste.Your inferences are right. ParaÅ›ara has given the remedy quite clearly in his HorÄ Å›astra. The worship of the Naká¹£atra devatÄ is but one aspect of this, which in this case is BhÄga as you say. Some very effective mantras are suggested for the Naká¹£atras in Vedic Remedies in Astrology, By Sanjay Rath. Another remedy suggested is to have the child be adopted by God! There is such a process where the parent gives the child away to the DevatÄ after which the Doá¹£a is removed.

Best thing is to go to the temple and ask the Pujari to suggest the puja. Otherwise follow Paraśara blindly.Yours sincerely, Visti Larsen----------Jyotish Guru (Vedic Astrologer)
