Compress the first 120 years of Narayana dasa to the period of effect of the mundane/Tajaka chart. In the case of a Tajaka monthly chart (as in my example), you have to compress 120 years to 30 degree motion of Sun (1 month). So 1 year is mapped to 1/4 degree motion of Sun (15 arc-min motion of Sun). If a dasa is of 9 years, take the period in which Sun moves by 9/4=2.25 degrees (i.e. 2 deg 15 arc-min). Sanjay used the same principle when he compressed Narayana dasa to 5 years in the case of Vajpayee's swearing-in chart. He compressed each year in Narayana dasa to 1/2 month (15 degree motion of Sun). > Sarajit: Can you please tell me what are the Sattwik, Rajasik > and the Tamasik > signs an why are they so called. Why don't you refer to the early chapters of BPHS? See the section on the characteristics of rasis.
