Dear Gurudev,

 

This imply that a debilitated planet if retrograde would give the result of

the house of exaltation and hence would be good for the native. But it seems

to be quite contradictory to what you said earlier; that the cancellation of

debilitation of a planet becomes difficult if it is retrograde. Please

clarify..

Dear Sarajit,

Partly, like being in the seventh from the sign it is in. For example,

if Saturn is retrograde in Aries, some of the results are like

exaltation..high status, power etc. While if Saturn is retrograde in Libra

(Charts of Sri Rama & Ramakrishna Paramhamsa) then Saturn causes

debilitation in the physical sence only i.e. Sanyas or Vanvas whereas the

spiritual aspect is very much heightened.

Still I cannot understand why retrograde Saturn in Cp will give result as it

is in Cancer.

Dear Sarajit,

There is a rare dictum that two powerful Rajyoga are generated if Saturn

is in Cancer or Jupiter is in Pisces in the throne. The " throne " refers to

the 10th house or Lagna. Normally Saturn gives this Rajyoga in the political

field while Jupiter gives the Rajyoga in the spiritual field. Examples are

the charts of Indira gandhi, Adolf Hitler etc. In Jayalalitha's chart, the

lord of Upapada is Saturn and is placed in Cancer. Hence, her husband Late

MGR enjoyed great Rajyoga and she inherited this (Upapada in the 8th house).

Parasara says that Pisces lagna with Jupiter in it gives Moksha......(By the

way a person called Tapani fully disagrees!!!)
